Actually anything that have smoke is bad for health. Example, those sell char kway teow, satay, bbq chicken wing are exposed to huge amount of smoke on daily basis.

You are missing the point. If you want to use the law to ban “harmful” activities there’s no end to the list.

For cigarettes the government is using high tax high prices and age limit to deter new consumers but they won’t piss off the older generations by banning cigs overnight . You probably won’t see oppositions or pap wanting to do this.

My guess is they will wait for the main bulk of them to pass on before they implement generation ban for cigarettes. In the meantime they will stop new generation of addicts by banning vapes n whatever nonsense the big Cigs will come up with.

Cigarettes one pack once open must finish within two days max. Once third day onwards the the cigarettes will smell sour liao. E cigar vape no such issue.

You are missing my point.

The money from ciggies taxes is too lucrative so they will never outright ban it. They should draw from this a precedence and either tax vaping as an unhealthy but legal activity, or ban both ciggies and vapes together if they are serious about the ill effects on health.

Half hearted measures like ban one not the other is neither here nor there and hard to justify the fairnsss to smokers/vapers.
