Hi all,

Although I am not a Samsung user (Sony Xperia Z user here), I experience the same thing.
I do not think it is a Samsung issue. I think it is more like a Whatsapp and network issue.

I started to have this problem only when I changed my SIM card to LTE capable.

I did a test by forcing my network to 3G and all is fine. Message has no delay. Once it is on LTE, i only get messages when i go into Whatsapp.

Just to add I am Starhub user here.

So many opinions on what is really causing the problem... I'm going to email this thread to Whatsapp to see if they can shed any light.
