Xiaomi didn't explicitly mention that they will only be using UFS 2.1 in their spec sheet of Mi 6(only stating UFS), thus if they were to use UFS 2.0 too it's still rather reasonable because it's still an UFS.

Backup to cloud services such as Google Drive/Google Photos, OneDrive, Dropbox etc. or Xiaomi's own Mi Cloud service~

True also, they didn't state which UFS version......They are very careful now, after the Huawei hard disk management saga.

Okok, thanks for the backup info

What you are quoting here is stating what the Snapdragon 835 can support, not necessary means the Mi 6 will definitely come with the stated specs.

Oops......haha !!!

Any info on price & availability in singapore market ?

mi 6 type c port only usb 2.0 speed. Saw people in miui forum said use usb 3.0 type c otg flashdrive with mi5 with ufs 2.0 is only 10+ mb/s read, few mb/s write. :(

Most batches of Mi 6 will come with UFS 2.0, while a limited batches of Mi 6 will come with UFS 2.1 ~

UFS 2.1 is now only available in limited supplies and demand is pretty high for it too.

No wonder saw many benchmark result, although the seq read speed is 600-700+ MB/s, the seq and random write is very slow.

It's normal that read is extremely fast but write is slow. Write is usually in the 140+ range for 2.0
