Actually the smartphone of nowadays have more than sufficient power to handle the everyday task smoothly, and the everyday user won't notice that small difference after all~

True, which is why anyone looking at mi6 should just settle for mi5/s at half the price $300+. similar design anyway and I'm pretty sure the camera is still mediocre

xiaomi needs a bigger improvement

I am happy I didn't wait for mi6 and jumped on mi mix ... To me the mi6 is really lack of wow factor.

I think this is not complaining. To need a feature is something we used to, nothing wrong.

I am not into wireless, because many of the wireless earphones typically last you 4-6 hours of music, then u have to charge it up again and battery do lose their charge after 6 months unless you spend much more on branded stuff like Sony, Sennheiser etc which would have better quality batteries. Wireless headphones give typically more battery life at 15-20 hours typically.

Secondly, not every wireless earphones do a good fitting. I bought a Bluedio wireless for $12 or so, but it just didn't fit. Most bundled earphones are universal fit, so no issues for most people although the sealing is not as good, but fine for most people who are NOT DEMANDING.

Thirdly, having a dongle DAC like the iPhone is a bad idea. I never like to hav edongle and it is messy. One more stuff attachable and detachable means possible damage and replacement. Then you can charge and playback without the use of a dongle (again).

Erm.. my wireless headphone last me 2 or more weeks before I need to a charge and I used it to watch TV series that can last for 4 to 5 hours daily. On days that I don't use it much, it still kept charge for over a month. Plus charging it only takes abt 2 to 3 hours so having wired to me is just a hassle.
Some people want to stick with their 3.5mm Jack but others already moved on to wireless so having the jack means nothing but if they can put in bigger battery by removing that Jack, it's a good tradeoff I'd say

Wow which headphone is it? Care to share the model number? 4 hours a day for 2 weeks is 56 hours.

Like I said, most wireless earphones are between 4-6 hours of usage. Not everyone wants to carry a big headphone. Using Bluetooth means more power utilisation, what trade off are you talking about. The reason for Apple not to use Bluetooth but their own W1 chip for wireless audio is due to Bluetooth power consumption.

USB C earphone is doable, but Xiaomi didn't provide at launch, so it is a missed step.

Cheap and good. Bang for buck like xiaomi

The trade off I'm talking about refers to the space needed to have the earphone jack in place. Without that jack, phone manufacturers can make use of that space to fit in bigger battery.
To me listening to music is not priority as I've other equipment for that but a phone with bigger battery and longer battery life beats having the earphone jack so it's a good tradeoff to me for sure

That headphone fitting is very bad. Wonder is it designed for hobbit. Expanded to max length and it was super tight on the ear, skull crusher. I have small head and i am no the only one with that issue, many people complained about that online.

The headband material weak, it broke at the slider after about one year of gentle usage. :(

Mine has no issues on fitting. However, my first one broke on the band after abt 1 year also. Now I'm on 2nd set but so far no problem. I've gotten a few sets for friends they all praised the sound quality. Oh come on, it's dirt cheap for a headphone with such sound quality. Its actually better than my friend's 300 over dollars set. Built isn't the best but what do you expect for such cheap headphone? If this one broke again, I'd still get another set in a heartbeat as I won't feel the pinch
