When is Mi6 launch?

Hi. Do you know what might have caused the LCD issue? Do you think over charging or using 3rd party charger might be the cause?

Doubt it has anything to do with charging. Only two plausible reasons, you might have exerted extreme force on the screen without realising it.

Second is that it just happened to be a defective LCD due to poor quality, managed to pass QC but cannot survive long term use. Unfortunate for you is that you aren't able to utilize the 1 year Xiaomi China warranty unless you happen to be in China.

Think there is a few users on the MIUI forum who got this issue too.

I've not met with issues w FB, YouTube or Netflix... But I am on the Global Beta builds.

Global beta weekly OTA update stopped for few weeks. Today finally received notification of new update. Install the 8.1.11 update, android version changed to oreo 8.0.0 but like no much difference from 7.1.1

Go open Mi Wallet. Got new feature. Can use phone to store access card feature.

Don't think so. Nothing spectacularly noticeable anyways.
Notifications are buggy and then some small irritances here and there but no deal breakers so far.

Unfortunately global rom for Mi6 CMI. Using China Stable and on latest version now. Camera got optimized and way clearer in the new updates as compared to global stable. Even on developer rom, China features far surpass that of global.

How clear is your clear ? Compared to global a lot of difference? I don’t know if its camera fault or software fault but it cannot focus like iPhone when I try to do IG story. For iPhone I can just IG story and move around without blur image but in mi6 is all blurred

Sharpness of photos, around 40% better than Global. Take note this is using high picture quality for comparison when using Global and China.

Also, take note there is some UI changes for the camera. Some people say it looks more like iPhone now lol.

Also, if you notice the forum users in Global vs China, more Mi6 ownership in China compared to global. To me, it's more reassuring that in the long term, China rom will have better support. Most global rom support die off pretty fast when new phones come out these days.

Global just pushed 9.2.2 and camera app updated like IOS style. So when u ig story will it get blurred?

Now is open beta since last week. Just installed 8.1.18 global dev rom. Supposed to fix idle battery drain.

Not sure about idle batt drain but notifications and background apps definitely improved by leaps n bounds. Quite reliable now when in the past some notifications can just not happen.
