I never tell anyone. WhatsApp will auto update group I think but I don't talk to anyone

I think it is good to announce to your family members, friends, colleagues and relatives that you have changed mobile number so that they are ensure that your mobile is not compromised by hacker.

freelancer so no colleagues, clients are in my work and public number. Only 1 or 2 friends the rest not close friends also throw my work number to them. Stay with my mum and is almost always together then no other relatives that we contact at all

too many scam cases, send message say number changed. this is the safest but most troublesome way. So best is don't anyhow change number.
