7+ Should be out of warranty already. So even if go Genius Bar can diagnose for free. Doubt will be worth paying to repair if really got hardware issueI had a similar problem with my iPhone X last time, but upon opening, not only lag but will freeze then sometimes go into blank screen, but on-screen items still available. Even switching of modes also same problem. Fortunately that time still under warranty and brought it back to Apple, in the end was camera failure and replaced the whole camera module.
My 7 Plus last time was logic board failure as the phone drained batt completely quickly even after a full charge and couldn’t even power on.
If your problem persists, just make a Genius Bar appointment

maybe a clean restore might do the trick. Maybe TS can consider
prob hardware issue. if u want can schedule a free check at store. they will tell u how much to repair/replace. I replaced my iPhone X telephoto lens once, around $100+My iOS is 14.7
I just updated to iOS 15.1
now the camera is back working...
So funny
What do you mean by that? i.e., don't update unless something went wrong hopefully the updated version will fix it?Ya man
Like that better don’t update to latest iOS yet
In case backward tech fail can upgrade maybe can solve it
Hahaha
But if the new iOS got no problem, u update already also wouldn’t have problem isn’t it?I mean don’t update to the latest iOS asap lor
In case got problems can update maybe can solve ?
Might not be the iOS problemBut if the new iOS got no problem, u update already also wouldn’t have problem isn’t it?
I don't believe that's how it works. I will say usually latest iOS should fix old bugs. If you are concern whether new iOS introduces major material bugs, can wait a few days to a week see what people say. I think then you will get a clearer picture.Might not be the iOS problem
Like very long didn’t update then update once for all maybe can solve the issue?
