In this case there are 3 options;

1) Speak to Rafi, ask to borrow the neighboring stalls Plates.
2) Bring your own plates
3) Buy take away and eat out of the "plastic" box.

Not much crowd even on lunch time. Give chance & support our local sportsman & musicians lah!

Friendly guy and he wont bite!

p.s there's nasi padang too. Looks not bad. I have not tried it yet. Maybe someday!

My TUAS canteen also got delicious biryani.
But I am not eating because the buttered rice is DOUBLE carbo evil.
The entire meal TS posted is easily exceed 1500 calories per meal!!

Not Dum but Chettinad "Briyani". $5

Our Tamil Naidu cuisine, the masala Chettinad chicken. This stall @ Tekka is FW favourite, close shop by 3pm! Always long queue! This time mutton finish so ate chicken loh!

Chili gravy (where the egg is) is quite hot for locals if u not use to it go slow!

Tuas canteen food is very expensive. Over rated price. Cai png stall mostly ah tiong cook too.

last time tiong bahru train station dum briyani. after move to tiong bahru plaza become not so nice already.
now favorite is al ameen opposite beauty world. mutton dum briyani sedap!

I like the briyani at Taj restaurant at south bridge road there. Doesn't usually see long crowds but is tasty and quite different. The masala they put on is quite nice.

Think the owners are burmese indians. I heard one of the staff conversing in what sounded like burmese before (can recognize since my work has lots of burmese)
