My Honda’s HID headlights bulb on the left side just died. Is there any workshop near Alexandra road which I can go replace?

Mine is a COE car so I usually service it at a workshop at Bukit Batok but would like to avoid going so far just to replace a bulb.

I’m not entirely about this. Mine’s a JDM Accord bought from PI. Drove it for a long time already and this is the first time a bulb has died.

Search in Carousel : lightbulbsg.
Previously done by him. Nice chap. Drove to his place and he comes down with the set of light bulbs to replace.
Cheaper than workshop for sure. :)

Thanks for the tip.

I’m just concerned if meeting a carousel seller during post ** phase 1 is legal or not.

If possible, I’d like to visit a workshop at Alexandra as its closer to my home.

if stock is running on hid, likely bulb blow nia. no need replace ballast. cheapest solution will be like what the others say, buy the bulb from the carousell guy. otherwise any car servicing workshop in alexandra can do also but slightly more exp.

You might wanna replace both bulbs, else 1 side will be brighter than the other.

Honda Civic FD series is factory HID bulb. Not sure if JDM Accord. If HID, there is also a possibility that ballast is bad too. If this happen, you may ending up changing both side and you may not be able to get the same type of ballast for JDM model.

Are the workshops in Alexandra opened for biz already?

Go spin one round there. The big corner workshop (Along that stretch with many motorcycle parked outside for sale) should be open.
Bulbs blow ask them change a set not more than $10.
If cheapo abit, take that blown bulb, walk across to the rear of the market, there is one old school spare parts stop. (Facing the road)
