alter sleeves as in? if you're talking about width only, it's probably $10 - $15..

if width + length, about $20 already.. if width + length of sleeves + the width of pit-to-pit, 1 shirt about $25 - $30 iirc... and that's the cheaper version.. if you want them to sew it back like the original shirt (maybe french sewn or smth), it costs even more.

i altered like 6 shirts + 2 pairs of chinos there.. costs about $400.. lmao.

but undeniable, you really can get the fit you really want, even if it doesn't fit in the 1st trial, just tell them and they will do it for you.

Tried them before and found the service and workmanship professional, thus justify for the $150 they charge per pants or shirt. But think twice after realize they are Lao lee's favourite tailor :(

mai bor liao lah
pple got talent then is his favourite tailor what
so like this have talents is sala?

btw i went to alterations @ chevron house. $54 for the jacket alteration on length. takes 2 wks so after i collect see how gd

but alter length of the sleeve is v expensive. have to remove the arm area, from there adjust. 100++$ kia si lang lol

I've been keeping track of the recommendations and made 2 trips to Oxford tailor first for shirts and pants and second trip for a 2-piece suit. On both occasions I couldn't help but feel discriminated especially when on both occasions I happened to be the only Asian customer amidst ang mohs. I felt that Alex and his team seemed to go all out to please the ang mohs but with me he took for granted. Case in point while serving me to take measurement for my $950 suit he paused to attend to the ang mohs. I wonder if I'm just overly sensitive or are there brothers out there who had similar experience. I have no issue with their products but I feel I deserve better treatment. The fact that the shop is crowded non stop didn't help either. Anyone care to share your experience at Oxford?

I boycotted them already. Their products are no different from other places but charged at a premium with no customer satisfaction. Will not even recommend to my friends there. :s13:

how much does oxford charge for a shirt? if service is really bad and they charge more than 100, you should try dylanandson. at least dylan tries to attend to one customer at a time.

Aston Blake

They are highly over rated. I have suits and shirts made there and they are disappointing. The fittings are numerous, takes too long to finish and the details are wrong. For a tailor that claims to offer bespoke service, you are better off at Pimabs or Kingsman for my money.

Try Clothesmith and Pimabs. They are good and reliable. Pimabs is higher end and the finished work reflects it. it comes with a higher price tag of course but you get what you pay. Avoid Aston Blake. They are lousy

After reading the many recommendations in the threads I jumped the bandwagon needless to say don't have time to experiment. Oxford is practically always very crowded but so far had yet to see locals mainly ang mohs who can get really demanding. I agree quality can be better in fact when I wore the pants the first time noticed a slight tear. Disappointing for a reputable establishment. What drew me to Oxford is their good range of well known fabric at good prices eg their 2-piece super 130s VBC suit cost only $1200 cheapest among other reputable tailors that I asked around. I guess for mid range there are lots of options but if looking for more 'branded' fabric I suppose they offer best prices unless bros out there got other lobang. Now looking for other options for my next venture super 130s Loro Piana anyone got any lobang?

I went in and told them looking for 2-ply cotton gave me swatches to choose from. I paid $150 for a shirt and $180 for pants. Didn't ask for their price range. I suppose they start from $120 onwards. I noticed those who were there never asked for prices so I just went with the flow. Alex also never asked me for preferences just took measurements and that's it. Good thing they didn't ask for any deposit.

Hello dear all, a question for all tailor made shirt brothers, I made all my shirts at dreamland, but does anyone here actually buy g2000 or those off the shelf at Robinson pants to go with it?? If so do u all prefer straight cut or slim fit? Or you all also tailor pant as well?

i bought OTR pants to go with my tailored shirts. I think OTR pants fit me well, so I don't want to waste my $$ tailoring them.

I prefer Clothesmith when they first started at Boat Quay compared to the current one at TripleOne.
