Cimb.
When banks rejected my application for CC and renovation loans, cimb was the one that approved everything.
I still remember I got mocked by one of the banks when my renovation loan got rejected. The agent called and ask how much I have in my savings bank and I replied 2k (mostly wiped out to buy furnitures & appliances). She said 2k most likely will reject my reno loan, usually they only loan to people with more savings. I said if I got savings I no need apply loan from bank. After that, she just 'oh ok lor' and kup the phone. Few mins later, I received email that my loan got rejected, I only want to loan 10k nia :(
So until now I still support CIMB, their cashback also not bad.

I think OCBC should be considered easiest, so long as you hit the salary limit they set, otherwise I don't see any reason why they won't give you.

Do you have a credit card before? I think ocbc usually approve those that have credit rating or better credit rating. Now my rating is AA, they macham approve with eyes closed.
Got Citi, Amex, CIMB and MB

CIMB card no annual fees at all for FD acct holders
I don't think you need to be FD account holder to enjoy no annual fee for your CR cards. The no annual fee offer is to all approved CR card holder without any conditions I think. As I'm retired currently I only hold CIMB cr cards and 1 useless OCBC cr card. All my cards are no annual fees for life. I'm thinking to terminate my OCBC card due to I can't purchase goods online as it can't generate OTP password unless I opens an OCBC online account.

Didn't know that. Found it very troublesome to request for annual fee waiver when I seldom use for my previous CC so I cancelled all and just used my debit card. CIMB really forever no annual fee?
So far I didn't pay any annual fee. Before you apply for cimb CC, you have to know that cimb dont have a lot of merchant promos like other cards. And I dont think you can link it to google pay.

I think they just added? No promotion nevermind since I am just getting one for the "convenience". But then their SMS transaction alert minimum threshold amount is $100..... not like debit card where can set to 1 cent. Safe or not :s14:
