I'm familiar with Acrolink. I have 7N-S8000 speaker cables and still keep a full set of interconnects and power cords, although I no longer use them because I have developed a different taste. Acrolink is too smooth for me, and I now prefer a more exciting sonic character. I'm just curious about your cable strategy. Do you use a full loom to maintain consistency or mix and match to tune the sound?
I mix and match to tune the sound. I like Acrolink, I have a 8N-A2080III EVO interconnect for my main setup as well and it was a crucial addition that helped smoothen that last bit of glare i had in my sound, but without added warmth. Because both my setups are tubes I need to be careful with the cabling as the sound can easily lean towards the warm side and lose that realism I really enjoy.

I see. I also own two pairs of the 8N-A2080 Performante. Acrolink 8N models are always produced in limited series, as Mitsubishi cannot manufacture enough cables of such high purity.
