for ram, i think kingston hyperx is not cheap
prolly can take OCZ or team xtreem

for cooler can get noctua u12p se2, megahalem, venomous-x cost between 95-140
if wan something cheaper can go for cm hyper 101 / tx3 / 212+, 3R Boss II

-Price
-Performance
-No. of fans included (which may affect the total cost if it doesnt come with fans.. e.g. megahalem)
-How much your gonna overclock it till... (200mhz to 400mhz maybe still can go with low ends one.. but temps may not be good... if overclock from like.. 2.66 to 4 then.. must go with expensive coolers lor)
-Whether AMD brackets are included anot (Affects total cost again, e.g. megahalems again :D)

Pros do correct me if im wrong :D

Noctua D-14 is the best you can buy if you got the cash and the room.
Prolimatech Megahalems also good. Use Noctua NF-P12 fans though. While not the absolute best CPU cooler anymore, it's a bit smaller than the DH-14 if room is an issue, a bit cheaper (I believe) and almost as capable.

wow..checked out your link..hmm..if im nt doing OCing then can just stick to stock cooler? besides the cooler the ram can get the cheapest one rite?
just to confirm my knowledge gathered..
lets say if im nt OCing straight away..i should stick to OCing ram cos i will in future and buy the cooler later?

ok..should i get the 1333mhz one or the 1600 mhz one?
mebbe cpu cooler later then i buy..
wanna get the rest of the system ready and up first..
saw the noctua u12 se2..its smaller than the d14..bt still blocking the ram abit right? this would mean that whenever i need to remove the ram i will need to remove the cooler?

I got the coolermaster hyper 212+ at $48 coupled weeks back when it was on promotion at Fuwell. Sadly the promotion ended, back to $59... i was thinking of buying more for my future PCs.

At $48, there is no other cpu cooler around the price that has the same level of performance. And most important to me, it comes with backplate. For big cpu coolers, I will never use those flimsy intel pushpins again.

Hope Denniz/Ban Leong will have an offer again for the Hyper 212+ or better yet, offer for V8
