Which laptop for Poly?

I recommend against going for the dual graphics one. I've heard many problems with SLI. Heat, firmware and software.

Yeah, I have also heard about that. Certain games does not support sli so instead of having a frame rate increase, it decreases instead...

I have a razer blade 14 which i think was a bad idea to buy when it came out last year now i dont even know if i can use it for poly since im enrolling this year.

You got the version with 650m or 555m? My friend bought it before the 6xx gpu refresh on razer blade and its quite a piece of ****. A 1.2k dell vostro ultrabook would perform better. His razer blade had a 555m and a dual core 2.7ghz processor lol

Errr u must be referring to the old razer blade pro. Mine's the 14 inch one. The one with the i7 quad core 2.2ghz processor, 8GBs of RAM and a GTX 765m gpu. Same specs as the refreshed blade pro. Also the old one was just a GT 555m gpu i think.

Then why would u think u cant use it for poly? Its a notebook. As simple as that.

Well my poly needs windows 7 on our laptop and after reading much on the net i found out that installing windows 7 on a windows 8 laptop would cause some drivers problems. So i'm kinda worried

if u want a 15" gaming laptop, aftershock xg15 better choice. 14" wise, nothing can rival the y410p.
