4k for MBA? Where and how to get it?
I am a current student ,Jan 10 semester. I appreciate the efforts the sch puts in, in the alumni activity. The sch arranged an image presentation workshop just for my cohort, before the start . As I enrolled early, I was invited to all the alumni activities before the start of the class. So far, I like what I see.
Having said that, the fees is a steal for me, as I am lucky to be awarded the SPRING Singapore scholarship , so just have to pay around 4k plus for the entire course. So no complains about it. If you are working in SME, you can try applying for the scholarship to reduce your cost.
My cohort around 60 plus students ( according to the director) . My class around 30 pple, tink mostly mid thirties .
They have this mentorship programme and a strong career services portal which I tink might be useful if one wants to change career. Not for me though, as I will be bonded to my company .
You can PM me if you need more info.
anyone got any comments or review for University of Adelaide and University of Strathclyde MBA?
anyone got any comments or review for University of Adelaide and University of Strathclyde MBA?
What you wish to know?
i have decent experience in my field, i think i take up a general MBA and this 2 MBA is on top of my list.
intially i perfer Strathclyde MBA but i have not been to their information session yet so do not have detail informations about the MBA. But one thing for sure, they have weekly classes. So confirm affect my after office hours work discussion.
any idea of YMCA Strathclyde study facilities? any library or study room?
University of Adelaide is Aust Top 8 and i like the fact that theirs are intensive classes for 3 days for 1 module. so i do not have to rush for classes that often.
which one leh![]()
I had been to the Strathclyde MBA preview twice. Had not been introduced to the library or study facilities though... If i did not remember wrongly the actual lessons and classes are also intensive in nature. The weekly thing are mostly tutorials... But again, please get more info from the Strathclyde guys here regarding this. I was drawn to this course due to its curriculum and course contents that interest me in the beginning but after comparing with its peers LUMS and MBS, I started to have 2nd thoughts...
I did my MPM with fellow MBA students of UoA. The MBA modules are same like ours and comes in intensive blocks. A lot of group meet ups and discussions after that though... The approach of UoA was to personalize the course according to each individual's situation at work and hence, students tend to pick up the necessary theories and skill set very fast. Other than the Go8 grouping for UoA, to be frank UoA itself is not exactly well known for its business school so I am not sure how would that affects your eventual decision.
If you need to have predictable timetables, probably UoA MBA would suits you. Else, Strathclyde would seems to be a better choice. As for my personal choice, I chose neither. I am going for LUMS next year.![]()
Strathclyde MBA in YMCA does not have a library. There is a small research room with some textbooks and past-year projects.
