Philips! Value for money and last for a very long time. Mine was bought ten years ago and still good.

Thanks brother. Last time using Braun and rechargeable battery seems having problem and cannot hold charge for long cos already using it for almost 2-3 years.

I am actually looking at the Panasonic shaver 3 blade ES-RT36 which is below 100.

I have done some read up on Panasonic Shaver versus Braun and Philips and was quite surprised that most of the reviews and feedback are quite positive towards Panasonic on their blade technology so decided to give it a try this time.

I chance upon the Panasonic mid range shaver promotion when I was shopping at Isetan Shaw Centre.

The ES-LT70 was having a promotion of $199 which the usual price is $289 and comes with a Free Extra piece of Blade and Foil cover which easily cost around $60 in total. This model also comes with a cleaning kit which other models do not have so decided to get this.

Now charging the shaver and excited to try it the first time!

Any more reviews on the ES-LT70? Am thinking of getting a new shaver as well! Not sure which brand is good and durable.:s22:

Brother, I am using the LT70 and really feels great using it as it is much quieter than my Braun and the cut is really cleaner.

Why I say so? Normally, I will start feeling little hairs growing out after morning shave in the afternoon but after using Panasonic LT70, the hairs growing is really shorter than using Braun which means the shave cut is much cleaner.

The feel of using the LT70 is so much gentle and smooth compared to the roughness on the Braun. Highly recommended for Panasonic shaver so depend on your budget to get which range and model.

Never used an electronic shaver before. Can advise is it true that manual shaver will always get a cleaner shave considering Compared to electronic ones? I hope to understand more before investing in a high end shaver

Thank you. Will read up more on this DE razor. Any other review on whether electronic shaver will be able to get a clean shave?

For a start, check out Muhle R89 or Merkur 34C.

Never used Philips. I always thought foil shaves closer.

Looks complicated. Have being using Gillette all my life. Simple to use, but occasionally cut myself as well as razor burn.

DC razor vs Electronic Shaver: which one is better for clean shave?
