Which Wifi6 / BT5.0 card?

i intended to get the intel ax200 but was informed that it wont fit into my
B550M steel legend / Forge M combo..

any other alternatives? budget under 50 thx

get ax210 instead. $25 at lazada and has triple band

i was recommended the ax200 card from a fella forumer, but when i went down to this shop in sls to buy my pc , he said it wont fit. so i didnt buy lol..

any 1 using similar combinations can verify? or is there some buying guides from hwz?

What exactly is this product called? a wireless adapter or wireless network card? or are they the same??

just get those wifi card to pcie adapters and stick it into the lower x1 (or x16 if using thicker than 2 slot gpu) pcie slot.

Im guessing this is just it. He tried with a pcie wifi card instead of the m.2 one and i guess ur gpu is too thick and he probably didnt try the x16 slot... This video is for the b460m steel legend but installation should be the similar for b550m. Ask for a m.2 (key E) wifi kit instead of a pcie one. The only trouble would be routing the antenna cables haha.

That is for notebook but not desktop.

Recommend Asus PCE-AC55BT, Wifi and BT but over your budget
as this cost around $80.

This card will be more reliable than buying OEM M.2 card than find a PCI-E adapter which may not work properly.

You just need to make sure the Wifi Card is "M.2 key E" so it fits into the WiFi card slot on the motherboard.
Then you need run 2 small cable from the card to the PCI slot for the antenna, something like the one below.


If too lazy to do the above, you can just get the PCIe Wireless Wifi Adapter that plug directly into the PCIe slot for convenient sake.

of course they are necessary, if not ur card cannot get any signal. if u can get ax210 around same price as ax200, then go for it. no point spending 300% extra on that asus card when these work just as well, should be plug and play.

Go search on taobao and buy one. Remember to buy the wiring and antennae if it does not come with one. Just chat with the seller to verify it could fit.

I find it perfectly fine buying from OEMs, so long the type of connector (Min-PCIE or M2) is correct. There is also a lot of "branded" cards using these OEMs. I have bought quite a few AC cards in the past to breath new life to old motherboards and laptops still using G.

Actually alot of current asrock boards has dedicated m.2 key e slot for wifi cards in addition to the regular 2 x m.2 slots for ssds. Theres even 1 asus mobo (think its the non wifi tuf b550m) that has m.2 key e for wifi haha (although u can just buy the wifi variant).
