Which would be a better choice.

I got 540air and NZXT 410. I would say go for 540 air. Very good cable management, things(SSD) you don't want to see just hide on the other side.

I read some reviews regarding the 540, saying material used is not that good, what are your views?

350D should be out since it only fit mATX. Your Mpower is ATX.

Alternatively, you can try 750D.

540 build is quite robust. You hoping for stainless steel type? 540 got a mixture of alu, steel and plastic.

I see, sorry man forgot to mention, I'm planning on downgrading to a G45. I don't OC so the board is pretty wasted in my hands.

G45 as in Z87 G45? Or you meant the B85M G43, which is mATX mobo and non-OC board.

The Z87 G45 is an OC mobo.

What made you hate it so much? :o

Too much plastic. Striking looks/design but rubbish interior, rubbish cable management, rubbish rubber grommets, flimsy HDD sleds. Stupid front door opening to the wrong side. No front air intake filter. It's a decent case, but at that price point, you got Fractal's cases which offer more compelling features for similar price

If you like the looks, then go ahead with the 410. I slowly preferred substance over style for casing. I'd take Silverstone/Lian-Li/Corsair over CoolerM/NZXT anytime these days.

Erm, your Mpower is Z87 mobo, G45 is also Z87 mobo, and you stated you dun want to OC?? Which is which?

I was always on the mindset that the MpowerMax is more toward overclocking and the G45 was more toward gaming. I have totally no idea that the G45 is an overclocking motherboard, that is why I said I don't wanna OC and am getting the G45.

Then in your opinion what do you think of the NZXT H440?

Both are Z87 mobo which are for OC. Just that Mpower can give more power to the CPU for higher clocks, but also need to depend on the CPU.

"G45" can only be found in Z87 mobo. You want non-OC mobo, try B85M G43 or B85 G43 Gaming. The former is ATX and the latter is mATX.

Understood. Thanks for clarifying.
