i used to have one of those queen-sized metal frames, relative donated when they move house. When I was younger still ok, around 18-19 a bit noisy, the frame sort of bent a bit. Switched to a king-sized one after my cousin moved house and decided not to move his bedframe there. Quite good quality, still in good condition, still at my parent's place.

Time to re tighten the bolts.

This may work for metal bedframes...

Doesn't work for wooden bedframes. I even tried adding rubber dampener to the joints in the wooden bedframes and they still creak.

Only those none solid wood bedframe with sideboards bedframes do not creak. Not sure why.

Just get those none solid wood bedframe that comes with side board. Their wooden frames are made into a box like structure and stronger support that do not creak.

Bought one from Shopee. Metal base (not wooden slats). Had some creaking initially at the joints. Stuffed some paper at the joints and no creaking till now

Currently looking at Zinus brand on Shopee.

Get those with as little screws as possible. More screws means more squeakibg over time...
