  • Woke up shat then realised that broadband internet was down again. Used the Asus app on the hp and it showed that no devices were connected to any of the routers on my mesh network and that no internet connection was provided by the modem.
  • Turned off and on and rebooted everything then it showed devices connecting to the wireless network. But no internet.
  • Plugged and unplugged ethernet cable cum fibre cable. But no internet.
  • Waited some time suddenly internet cum back.
Any expert can give tips? This mesh Wi-Fi setup is only one year old but the previous one had similar issue as well. And after buying this new one didn't have such nonsense for some time but recently reappeared and becoming more frequent again.

Yeah, when I was troubleshooting just now then I noticed such a setting. So I set it for the first time to do it weekly - but there was a popup after that warning that unless the firmware are all updated then it might have an error or something. Really should have taken a screenshot of it.

By the way, do you know how to change DNS to Adguard from Asus' Android router app? I can see no obvious way of doing it.

u check ur ONT/ONR.... if the pon indicator turn red or no light, means ur upstream issue.....

if the issue persist after 30 mins or so, u need to call ur isp for assistance.

To troubleshoot...

1, can you connect to the router? Eg.
Do you see this?

2, do you see your router is shown connected to the internet with an external IP?

If you cannot see your router, reboot your router.

If you can see the router but it shown internet is disconnected. Reboot your modem instead.

If lan cable also have problem, it probably still the router.

Since you are not in Bintan like moi the "Secured, Connected without Internet" should not mean
construction workers accidently cut the fiber optic.

Call the provider to solve it for you.

I once also have long loading times when restart, like 5min, it got better when using new router.
