anyway, these days, i sometimes find dealing with manufacturer directly is better than local distro.

Though not applicable to all products. Some products really bo bian but have to go through distro

For Tradepac pricelist for graphics cards, i noticed the cards have Price 'A' and 'B', what does it mean? Is price 'A' only for complete system?

I noticed a lot of offers under Tradepac pricelist. That means certain brands/parts must ask personally to get a quote. Are they the only shop that the price list is done this way?

I built my rig @ PCT. Yes, their price is higher compared to Tradepac but they only charged me for the parts which included installation of hardware and OS software and i went in thinking i need to pay them a installation fee like what i had read here which i did not. Service wise not much. This young chap just looked at what i want, took out their listing, started circling and writing down the prices, total up and ask me ok or not. once ok,i paid up and waited for 2 hours then collected my rig and fo.:s13:

tbh, PCT used to be the best in terms of price and service, of cos YL is the key figure there. If you want cheap, go tradepac, if you want service, go to PCT or fuwell, bells etc. IMO, service and cheap price doesnt really come together.

Years ago, I used to buy everything from Fuwell. I don't even bother to seriously compare prices. The prices were reasonable albeit not the cheapest. However, the service got worse and worse and after being made to stand around twiddling my thumbs one too many times, I decided enough was enough.
