real rich stay nice houses with huge land . things are nice. cars they drive are nice.

why AMDK countries can receive high pay yet work life balance?

how they stay being competitive?

I think because they all gang up together to make that work life balance happen. UNITE!

They send the message to the government and companies that they are not willing to work over time and in the weekend and more than what they need to do. They prioritize their own life. Their life is not about work only, but fun, play, experience, and spending time with family and friends.

Asians on the other hand… love to 抢风头, kay kiang, do a lot, pretend to OT, or volunteer to OT, reply messages and emails after work and in the weekend. Asians life ish more like make money, buy car buy properties, everything must win people. Believe in working hard = spending more time at work = making more money. Damn stupid coolie gene.

personally I paid 13 euros for a 15 inch pizza in a tier 2 European city

I think here for 15 inch it's almost 50 bucks SGD with canned ingredients

the chef made the pizza in front of me with fresh ingredients

the pasta and sushi there a bit more expensive but it's only like 10-20% more and not kids meal size, can eat full one

Closest amdk country is aus. Min wage is $24/ hour or around $200 for a days work or $4k a month or $48k a year. I'm assuming the lowest level type of work.

Income tax is around 33%. Nett is around 30k+ or 2.5k+ monthly. Superannuation is 11.5%.

Cars and petrol cheaper. Eating out is expensive. $15 average a meal. Property prices has also increased. Medical not too sure. Can get by eating out all meals? Abit tough and probably can't save.

Unless making say sg median salary of $6k+ then it becomes more comfortable. At 10k salary, or becomes 37%...

CPF got $1m. Or CPF + cash savings $1m.

Stock portfolio $1m.

It is the NORM ok. Not like is just one or two. Everyone.
