Used to use kingston 32 class 4 no issue. (1yr from s3 to note 2)

So bought a kingston 64 class 10 from sls. ( Upgrade due to space )

Lots of problem, sometimes cannot detect sometimes copy files fail. ( Sibeh Pek chek )

Tried all method ( format to exfat , fat 32 )

In the end return to 1to1 exchange. Tested and found same issue (unreliable )

Avoid this batch at all cost. ( you have been warned )

In the end got a SanDisk 64 class 10. ( formated to fat32 using mini tool partition wizard windows version)

So far so good. been using for about 1week with no issue. ( hopefully )

Perhaps the first batch was good. It was the same for my S3 - mine was the first batch and it never gave me any problems, but my friends with later batches had charging issues, sudden death, etc.

I bought my Sandisk 64GB class10 locally (ingram micro stock) when prices came down to about 80 SGD. 3 failed in a row. Other HWZers who bought theirs during the period also had massive failures. Besides, Sandisk has already admitted to producing a problematic batch of cards, but they did not disclose the numbers.

And lastly, that shop you recommended... well they are one of the last places I will personally visit if I want local distributor warranty. Search the forums and you'll understand why. :)

Well, I have never had a problem with any of my Best Bargain micro-SD cards before, so I don't need to go read someone else' comments. And I've been going there for so many years.

I figure you might have mistaken it for another store.

As an old prowler of SLS, I'm sure I did not mistake the shop. But you're the paying customer, so as long as you're happy, it's good. :)

My sandisk 32gb class 10 up lorry 2weeks back. all my data within gone! Called up sandisk and they mentioned its a batch issue and all their latest card distributed by vector are good to be use on samsung note2. Got mine exchange on saturday and SFSG.

Do note that on the earlier batch of sandisk, you will encounter quick drain of the batt life and also every now and then, the sd card icon will flash on the top left screen... once u see that, quickly back up all your data cos your disk is gonna be fried soon!

Mine is SanDisk 16gb not sure of class but killed using S2 in just 1 year. really not sure it's SanDisk or Samsung phones man. There are high number of Samsung phone users so it's no surprise if complaints are most on Samsung phone. Looks like the versatile way is to get other brand of sd instead of SanDisk n Kington. Heard a lot of good feedback for Samsung sd cards.

Just a reminder. I kena-ed one fake Compact Flash from a SLS shop, which its serial number is not verifiable in the manufacturer site.

i though that the water mark sticker and logo on the Compact flash is good enough for condumer to identify the real stuff. But I am wrong.

I rather pay few bucks more at more established shops for peace of mind.

My Sandisk 32GB Class 4 experienced the unexpected removal problem a couple of times before dying and i bought a 32GB Samsung Plus Class 10 SDHC-UHS1 card as replacement thinking that it may work fine. It seemed that i was wrong. 2 months in the S3 and i'm experiencing the same problem again. Backing up my stuffs now..

At least when u go rma, they can't blame it on other manufacturer. They told me Sandisk problem the last time round (even though class 4 is not included in the Sandisk defective batch) and i accepted their excuse.

Just had this issue on my Note 2 with Toshiba Class 4 32GB MicroSd. Same thing with the error messages and microsd icon popping up on Notification then within 2 days it just died and became unreadable on both phone and laptop.

Now I have no idea who to blame since my MSD is from Toshiba and not Sandisk and also I purchased the MSD from Starhub when I bought the Note 2 thus not directly from Toshiba and it doesn't have any documentation since it was just packaged in a clear plastic case with nothing else.

Anyone else in the same situation as me or has any advice?

Why is starhub not selling you the proper sales package?
