Phone went flat and the micro sd card stopped working. Cant save photos or move files to the card but able to access music files and existing photos. Plug into my computer but it was blank. Restarted the phone but still had the same problem. End up have to format the card

Note 3 here. Sandisk 32GB.
Looks like it is starting to fry my microsd.
It keep saying "unmount sd before removing" and "preparing sd card" constantly, and by saying constantly I mean all the fxcking time.

Lost my package and receipt. Better backup soon.
Not sure if Samsung cooperate with Sanddisk for this plot. No more sanddisk for my phone!

Just completely fried my Sandisk 32gb with Note 3. Bye bye Sandisk, RIP. To give warn for others, the symptom is it will start to mount/unmount sd card repeatedly, then on one day it will change to "removed sd card, pls insert sd card."or something like that. Urgently backup ur card data now if u still want ur data, if u still can access it. When the final nail shut the coffin it will display "Blank SD Card - SD Card blank or has unsupported filesystem". Find your receipt & package if u don't want to pay for a new one now.
Looks like all brands micro sd card may get a chance to get fried by Samsung phone, so the best is keep ur receipt and package, backup ur data once it's starting to happen.

Does anyone with the SD card issues also have a 2nd battery? If so, do you shut down the phone before swapping the battery? Just wondering could this be the cause. Some app accessing the card when the battery is pulled out, corrupting it.

No, not even once I take out the battery since bought. It just get fried when it lives in the phone.

Just a quick question to those having this MSD card issue, did you go to Samsung to service your phone for this card issue?

I had the same problem with Sandisk 64gb class 10 ultra micro sd xc card. However I managed to backup 90% of the files before it went kaput! When I tot I was smart to use my tablet's Sandisk 32gb ultra micro sd hc card as a temporary solution so that I can continue to use my Galaxy Note (for apps moved to sd card), somehow, after formatting with the PC and transferred all files back to MSD card and plugged into Galaxy Note, the card was unmountable! Took out and was not readable using card reader via PC anymore, confirmed it's dead.

I am going to have my cards exchanged. But I don't know if I should re-insert the new card to my Galaxy Note or I should get Samsung to check my phone 1st!?

Thx.
