To BE810V brothers who using it. My S24 ultra whenever come back to my house. The BE810V will auto disconnect and restart itself. Sometime I cannot even connect to my wifi and I need to power off and power on. Then wifi then can be connected.

are you using mlo? Probably bug that need firmware update like its brother be800

https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/archer-be800/v1/#Firmware

quick write in to starhub and tplink to release regular updates for eb810v. Help me mention to them also to enable firmware to use the full 2gb ram inside our eb810v.

More voices help our case to enhance the router to full potential

For those who do not like external antennas, other than the Xiaomi BE6500 Pro, you have more choices now.

The form factor of TP-Link China TL-7DRBE3650 and TL-7DRBE5650 may be welcome by some users. They are very much the same as TL-7DR3630 and TL-7DR5130 in terms of specifications, just with internal antenna.

https://www.tp-link.com.cn/product_3467.html
https://www.tp-link.com.cn/product_3434.html

They have twin-pack and tri-pack for sale as well.
K76 = TL-7DRBE5650 x 3
K75 = TL-7DRBE3650 x 3
K73 = TL-7DRBE5650 x 2
K73 = TL-7DRBE3650 x 2

Anyone tried the Asus zenwifi bq16?

Not yet widely available. It is not cheap at S$899 per piece.

1) Asus Singapore e-Store -- not available yet
https://www.asus.com/sg/networking-...ystem/zenwifi-wifi-systems/asus-zenwifi-bq16/
https://sg.store.asus.com/rog/bq16-w-1-pk.html

2) Challenger -- limited availability in a few stores
https://www.challenger.sg/intellige...sh-wifi-system0--0197105216235?h=MSwwLDAqODk5

BTW, if you do not need the form factor, I tend to think Asus ROG GT-BE98 at S$1099 is a much better buy with the extra ports available (quad 2.5G ports).

I know, it is just my personal bias against the whole ZenWiFi line...

Thinking of buying this one next mth I go China but see that this one got issues with high CPU from the above....

Half disappointed dunno to get or not!:(

Just wait for a few month if you do not want to take risks.

I tend to trust that Asus will be able to fix the issue with firmware updates.

It is said the HW configuration is typical Qualcomm IPQ5332+QCN6224+QCA8386 combination. In that case, HW configuration should be okay.

Guys, I have a existing Aimesh. The primary router Gt-ax6000 has 2.5 Wan.
Can I connect one of the lan port of the default router provided by StarHub to the Asus wan port so that I can continue to reuse my aimesh setup?

Another question on Whizzcom 2.5G plan. Their staff said only ONR will be provided.

My Asus Gt-ax6000 supports wan aggregation. Can I connect 2 lan cables from the original whizzcomm ONR to my Asus and setup wan aggregation? Which affectively gives me 2G internet Into my Asus.

Do I need to enable wan aggregation functionality on Whizzcomm’s ONR?

Interesting tear-down video of Netgear RS700S WiFi 7 router (BE19000). It is using Broadcom BCM4916 CPU, just like Asus ROG GT-BE98. It has 2GB RAM and 512MB Flash. BCM6726 is used for 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi. BCM67263 is used for 6GHz WiFi.

You may want to ask in the WC 2.5Gbps thread as your question has nothing to do with WiFi 7 router.

Anyway, the answer is that WAN Aggregation will not work as none of the ISP's ONT/ONR supports 802.13ad. But you can set up Dual WAN Load Balancing to achieve >1Gbps wired and wireless speed.

Again this has nothing to do with WiFi 7 router. You may want to ask in the Starhub 5Gbps thread.

The Starhub provided Nokia XS-2426X-A ONR has one 10G LAN port. You can connect that LAN port to your GT-AX6000's 2.5G WAN port.

Your AImesh should still work if you do not touch the connections. But you have now so-called Double NAT situation. Double NAT will not cause issues for normal browsing or media streaming.

I think the Starhub 5Gbps thread is also where it is mentioned that ASUS routers jointly in AIMesh configuration can be set as AIMesh access points mode instead of AIMesh router mode. I did try that out and the AP mode worked fine, regardless of other issues I have been having with the supplied Nokia ONR

Tbh Asus router got unsolvable issues then other china brands GG already .

Moi probably go for be6500 during 6.18 sale since it cost like 10-20sgd more than other brands with similar specs only .

~140sgd for Asus high middle tier gaming router with all 2.5g ports feels pretty good for the long run .

China wifi 7 routers really dirt cheap even though they lack 6ghz. Dunno how those other western international brands can compete at all .

Xiaomi BE10000 or a TP BE805 from resellers?

Take note Xiaomi BE10000 does not support 6GHz band as it is a China version of WiFi 7 router. If you have WiFi 6E and WiFi 7 device with 6GHz band support, TP-Link Archer BE805 may be a better one to go if you can get it at a reasonable price (about S$400 from Carousell, BNIB).

Xiaomi BE10000 is cheaper and it is a good option if you do not need 6GHz support. Take note one of the 10G port is SFP+ so you may need to get the SFP+ module if you want to use the SFP+ port. The good thing is that it has quad 2.5G LAN ports if you need that,
