We definitely need as currently we have many elderly workers that are under paid.
What if there is minimum wage and those elderly got fired because their "services" or "contributions" are not worth the minimum wage?

Minimum wage does not benefit most Singaporeans, it disproportionately benefit the foreigners because most of the low level jobs like cleaners are mostly foreigners. Few Singaporeans will benefit from it that's why the govt see no point in implementing a min wage when the vast majority of middle income Singaporeans will suffer.
So unless you are one of those human rights sjw, most of us don't want min wage. Our govt main concern is the well being of Singaporeans, it's not human rights nor is it the well being of foreigners

Chiu pay minimum wage then chiu will see less people get hired cos they will make 1 person do 3 person job since the 1 person is now paid more
