Only devices with both an Intel 11th Gen Core processors and an Intel SST driver version of 10.29.0.5152 or 10.30.0.5152 are affected by this issue.
To safeguard your update experience, we have applied a compatibility hold on Windows devices which have Intel SST driver versions 10.29.0.5152 or 10.30.0.5152.
The issue is resolved by updating the Intel® Smart Sound Technology drivers to version 10.30.00.5714 and later, or 10.29.00.5714 and later.
Please note that later versions of this driver might refer to only the last part of the version number. For the purpose of addressing this issue, 10.30.x versions are not newer than 10.29.x versions.

The more I read about 24H2 the more it feels like a completely new OS, theres so much changes under the hood think I might give them another year to iron out the bugs.
Anyway some performance numbers W10 22H2 vs W11 23H2

So nothing is wrong.
Windows NT 10.0.22631 = Win11 23H2
Windows NT 10.0.26100 = Win11 24H2
Not what I asked, but okay.
Basically, MS needs to update their kernel versioning so it will report correctly as win 11 but they have a track record of not doing it. Not a major issue though because app can also choose to report by getting the data from other areas.
Err... actually Win 11 is Win 10 but just a major overhaul.
When the day comes software recongize Win 11 as Win 11 than that means
it is no longer based on Win 10 anymore.
I doubt will come that soon.

yes, the 'new' windows 11 context menu sucks. For those who want the old context menu to automatically show more options (works in W11 24H2)
Restart file explorer or your pc afterwardsCode:reg.exe add "HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID\{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}\InprocServer32" /f /ve
