More premium model from Asus, at S$1669.

2025 NEW ASUS Zenbook A14 UX3407QA 14" Laptop (Snapdragon X X1 26 100 Processor | Qualcomm Adreno GPU | 16GB/1TB) | https://s.lazada.sg/s.4PAnN

The price has not budged much since it was released last year. Only has a Full HD screen - not say very premium these days

Current Shopee price is at S$1434 with free Asus wireless silent mouse and one year Asus premiere care.

Of course the focus will still be the new generation Snapdragon X2 Elite CPUs (but super expensive) laptop.

S$1080 for 14 inch model Acer Aspire A14-11M-X6G6 with 32GB/1TB configuration

Personally I hope the Snapdragon X2 Plus CPU based laptop will be much cheaper.

Anyway, I want to have one Windows 11 on ARM64 machine for testing, so I just bought the Acer Aspirt 14 AI A14-11M-X6G6 with 32GB/1TB configuration, at S$1080 from Shopee.

So far so good.

It has dual 40Gbps USB 4.0 ports and Qualcomm 7800 WiFI 7 adapter.

One main problem -- some vendors may not provide ARM64 driver, like Marvell AQC107/AQC113C 10Gbe network adapter. RealTek does provide the ARM64 driver for their 2.5Gbe/5Gbe/10Gbe network adapters.

Another problem -- VirtualBox 7.2.8 does not seem to work so I uninstalled it. WSL works fine though (tested with Ubuntu 26.04 and Debian 13).

The above 2025 Asus ZenBook A14 laptop is with Snapdragon X1 26100 CPU, 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD.

It is amazing that the newer 2026 Asus ZenBook A14 laptop is double the price at S$2881 with Snapdragon X2 Elite 18 core CPU X2-E88-100, 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD. The performance is of course quite a bit better but the double price may still be hard to justify.
https://sg.shp.ee/ZEMA14Sc

On the other hand, Asus ZenBook S14 is also very expensive at S$3081, with Intel Panther Lake Core Ultra 9 386H CPU, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD.
https://sg.shp.ee/HAufjQj4

Asus ZenBook S16 is also very expensive at S$2881, with AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 CPU, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD.

Indeed X2 Plus version can be much cheaper. X2 Elite version is pretty expensive. X2 Elite Extreme will be very expensive.

Lenovo IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 14Q8Y11 with X2 Plus CPUs.
https://www.notebookcheck.net/Lenov...-battery-life-than-older-model.1298983.0.html

Currently, Lenovo equips its new 14-inch 2-in-1 with 16 GB or 32 GB LPDDR5X-9523 RAM, 512 GB or 1 TB of M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0 storage and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. Two display options are available, too. While both are 1200p and 60 Hz touchscreen panels, Lenovo's OLED configuration peaks at 600 nits peak brightness (HDR) with 100% DCI-P3 colour space coverage. By contrast, its IPS option drops to 45% NTSC colour space coverage and 400 nits peak brightness.

The IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 14Q8Y11 starts at £1,110 in the UK and €1,159 - €1,350 in the Eurozone. Meanwhile, the same laptop costs AUD 2,199 in Australia. Although all countries have received 16 GB of RAM, a 512 GB SSD and an IPS display as their starting configurations, Lenovo includes a Linear Pen for free in Australia, which it sells separately elsewhere.

https://9to5google.com/2026/05/28/qualcomm-snapdragon-c-windows-macbook-neo/

At Computex 2026, Qualcomm has unveiled the Snapdragon C chip for Windows laptops, a new chip that’s an “entry‑tier processor designed to make modern personal computing more accessible,” Qualcomm says.

The press release itself doesn’t really give us too much information, but Qualcomm promises all-day battery life and the ability to build Windows laptops that start at just $300 with this new chip. Performance isn’t outlined, but Qualcomm mentions “smooth” web browsing and productivity tasks.

...

Acer is announcing the first Snapdragon C laptop today in the Aspire Go 15, a 15.6-inch machine that maxes out at 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

More about Acer Aspire Go 15.
####

Acer just announced a new budget-friendly laptop at the Computex trade show. The Aspire Go 15 includes Qualcomm's new Snapdragon C chip, which is meant for use in more affordable gadgets.

In addition to the new chip, the Aspire Go 15 features a 15.6-inch display, two USB-C ports and an HDMI port. The storage and memory are on the lower side, as the laptop can only be outfitted with up to 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. That hard limit of 8GB of RAM means that this is a computer for daily work tasks and not for any serious creative work. Consider this just another casualty of the AI industry's insatiable hunger for RAM

Nvidia, Microsoft, and Arm are all teasing Nvidia’s new N1X laptop processors

All eyes area now on Nvidia’s keynote at Computex on Sunday night.

https://www.theverge.com/news/940275/nvidia-n1x-laptop-processor-arm-microsoft-teaser

It’s the world’s worst kept secret that Nvidia is about to announce its own Arm-powered laptop chips at Computex this weekend, and now Microsoft, Nvidia, and Arm are all openly teasing the announcement. The Windows and Nvidia GeForce accounts on X both posted “A new era of PC” earlier today, and now Arm has followed up with an identical post.

All three posts include coordinates pointing to where Computex is hosted in Taipei. Nvidia is holding a Computex keynote in Taipei at 8PM PT / 11PM ET on Sunday night, where it’s rumored to be announcing its new N1 and N1x laptop chips.

Knowing Nvidia, this new Nvidia ARM laptop will be probably cost more than M5 Max Macbook Pro.

Just look at Nvidia DGX Spark mini pc pricing: SGD$10K (cough cough)

Ok I got confused between RTX Spark and N1X. Clarification from AI about their relationship:

RTX Spark and N1X are not the same, but they are closely related.

Quick Breakdown:

  • RTX Spark (or DGX Spark) is Nvidia's desktop AI mini-PC/workstation (sometimes called a superchip platform). It’s a ready-to-use system powered by the GB10 Superchip, focused on local AI workloads. It supports up to 128 GB unified memory, high AI performance (around 1 petaflop), and runs large models locally.
  • N1X is Nvidia’s Arm-based SoC (System-on-Chip) designed for laptops and consumer PCs. It’s the mobile/consumer-oriented version (co-developed with MediaTek) based on similar silicon as the GB10 in the DGX Spark.

Key Similarities

  • They share the same core architecture: 20-core Arm CPU (10 performance + 10 efficiency cores) + Blackwell GPU with 6,144 CUDA cores (48 SMs, matching an RTX 5070 in core count).
  • Both emphasize local AI, content creation, and strong integrated graphics performance.
  • N1X is essentially a repurposed/lower-power derivative of the GB10 Superchip used in RTX Spark/DGX Spark systems.

Key Differences

AspectRTX Spark (DGX Spark)N1X
Form FactorDesktop mini-PCLaptop / mobile SoC
Target UseAI workstations, high-end local AIConsumer laptops, gaming/content creation
Power/TDPHigher (desktop)Lower (typically 45-120W)
MemoryUp to 128 GB (in the system)Up to 128 GB, but usually less in laptops
AvailabilityAlready shipping as a complete systemUpcoming in laptops (e.g., Dell XPS, others)

There’s also a lower-tier N1 variant for thinner/more efficient laptops.

In short: RTX Spark is the desktop AI system, while N1X is the chip powering the laptop equivalent — they’re from the same family but optimized for different devices. This is Nvidia’s big push into Arm-based Windows PCs with strong integrated RTX-level graphics.

----
Basically, RTX5080 laptop pricing territory or higher due to the 128GB RAM + Nvidia AI tax.
