ok.

So final cost: $25 per pax
Wines: One bottle of french wine per couple, served blind. You can wrap up your bottle if you like. If possible try to let it breathe (if not, it's ok)
Glasses: BYOG
Meetup: 6.30pm sharp at the place (www.saveur.sg)
I have informed them that dinner service will start at 6.45pm.

In addition please bring additional cash for the german wines that you have ordered. will give the breakdown shortly.

Thanks to Swirl84, looiwte & reign for turning up for the dinner tonight. It was a very enjoyable time with good affordable french food and delicious french wines. Looking forward for another outing next month! We hope more people can join in and share in the experience!

it's an entry level producer from Chile, but at this price it's a pretty good deal. let's you try various types. just don't expect anything life changing. you can get their high end labels from Vina Maipo 'Devocion' range. this can be found at FP Finest.

Think they have Shiraz,Merlot,Chardonnay,Cabernet Sauvignon,Sauvignon Blanc ranges for sale. just that really quite a lot of ppl stock them up coz got promoters. wanted to try but queue damn long.

@Beta_tester: how was the pinot? wine and cheese and a winning team is always fun

@reign: usually i'm not an advocate of airport wine. what you 'save' in the tax is covered up by increased markups. only a few of these wines are airport 'exclusive', most of them you can get outside or direct from distributor

@wackykid: yes :)
