popped by carrefour plaza sing yesterday, some buys that stood out for me:

'08 Teusner "The Ribke" Northern Barossa Shiraz (up: $40+, now: $38) - tasted before and very nicely made Shiraz. You can try their Grenache as well since it's on offer too. Should be pretty good.

'06 Chateau de Fesles - La Chappelle - $30+, 100% chenin blanc, dry white wine from the loire valley.

'01 Chateau de Fesles Anjou - $29 (i think), if you've never tried a 100% cabernet franc before, this is a good change to try!

this is the one by the local nose right? should be some interesting stuff there. i have another tasting that day so won't be there on 31st.

on a side note, for those of you who never had a red wine from the Loire before, you can try the 2003 Chateau de Fesles Anjou Red. Made from cabernet franc with just a little bit of cabernet sauvignon. this is an interesting wine if you've never had a cabernet franc before.

it costs $25 from Carrefour and for my palate its delicious.

always drink premuin wine first and later procceed to cheaper stuff cause after the first bottle u hardly know the difference

no loh....can tell diff one....that's why whenever i drink, i make sure i not high or anything so i can focus on the wine.

August Ziegler, 2009 Gewurztraminer Kabinett from Pfaiz region- light flora scent, can't smell the lychee, very light on the taste not much of aftertaste prefer something Stronger

Biffar,Josephine, 2009 riesling from Mosel - Stronger taste, and have more flavor characteristic of mosel,

Markus Molitor, 2009 Haus Klosterberg 2009 from Mosel region.. Same as above and more appealing to my taste bud

Red

GUTZLER - SAINT LAURENT (DRY) -2007 - Taste like Pinot noir but more flavor or fuller body


Adam Weidmann, Johanninger 2004 from Nahe - Nice.. like Shiraz... new kind of grape.. which is not common Dornfelder

Clonakilla 2004, Aus, - Not much of sweetiness and smell, not sure if it has passed the peak period...

Win kf ler, Alendorf 2008 - Gewurztraminer Kabinett - Sweet with faint lychee scent... very good with pepper Crad

Dr Loosen 2010 - Express sweet against the pepper crab, i prefer Dr Loosen over the Win kf ler, Alendorf 2008, even though it does not have any faint scent.. but the sweetness is more prominent..

the clonakilla riesling?

it's not a sweet style of riesling. typically aussie rieslings are very dry and high in acid. this clonakilla might have needed more time to open up.
