Hello hello! I'm also going to be in Japan this December to early January. First 3 days will be staying at a ryokan at Hakone, I suggest you try this if you haven't. Then going back Tokyo till Jan 3rd. Visiting the usual tourist attraction but since I'm quite the gamer, I'll be visiting the Eorzea Cafe and ARTNIA cafe by Square Enix.

I also will be visiting all the places in Mark Wiens's video:

He's quite an entertaining guy. Like his video bcoz of his foodgasm face, lol.

hello folks! does anyone have a Hokkaido itin to share? I am planning a trip in Dec, and apart from a few nights in niseiko (more for the snow experience then because we want to become skiers), and quite torn about where to go... any itins appreciated! thanks!!

Arashiyama at nite? Anything to c at nite? Somemore winter period.
IMO, Arashiyama go in the morning till afternoon or slightly later, ard 6hrs, no need until full day, unless u plan to c many things and visit many places.
