Don't have the time to scroll all the way back and read so would appreciate some recommendations.

I don't really care about sound quality. my Jaybird X3 kinda died. exchange warranty once and the second one died after a few months. I suspect that it's due to my sweat. so I'm preferably looking at something that is sweatproof; I sweat ALOT.

Currently on my list are the Jabra elite active and jaybird run xt.

Any thoughts or recommendation of sweatproof buds that are cheaper than the above?

haha. My jaybirds all die very fast also. Last time X/X2 era maybe last a few months cause I wear it behind my neck instead of hanging loose, so that when jogging won't be annoying when I turn my head. I sweat a lot a well. Even if they say sweat proof also no use.

But since changing to true wireless no issues with sweat damage since ears don't sweat and the sweat just flow around the ears. If sound quality not a huge issue, don't even need to be looking at jabra or jaybird. Tons of cheaper options that are IP rated too. MPow t5, mifo o5 just to name a few. I used to use jabees beebuds also and even though sound quality not amazing it lasted me quite some time.

Would really avoid the run xt though.

I tried the First Run and it was not that reliable. Lots of connectivity issue and latency issues. I like the sound signature and the ability to eq, but ultimately not worth the price. From what I've seen from reviews, it's not much better. It's still using bt 4.2 also. And battery life is meh.

There are many other options out there if sound quality isn't the most important thing to you. Most of them cheaper. Also, it's a pretty old model. The completely new Vista is probably coming soon

Definitely worth it for the price ones paying. I have both xiaomi redmi Airdots and QCT-T2C. Both works very well and sound wise is bassy though but most players have equalizer to tune the sounds.

You cannot compare a $25 earbuds with those costing $150 and above.

lazada selling mifo 05 at $57. so decided to buy it after looking at the reviews. paid 43 after 15$ discount

no warranty though so hopefully no issues..

+1 it's only like $20-30 more only compared to redmi airdots, and the sound quality is way better than on the redmi airdots for sure. If this is something you use daily, easily worth the extra if you ask me. I have the mifo o5 and while it's not as good sounding as the creative outlier air, it's like half the price and the overall battery life is insane. For my usage I could go like a month without charging the case.

Meanwhile I'm waiting for the mpow t5 to reach and see if it's worth the hype. Hahaha

Same, just bought Mpow T5 yesterday cause I dropped my Anker Soundcore Liberty Air charging box on the bus.
Now waiting for it to arrive and test out.

Nope. Not even a jitter yet. Most reliable. Even at places where the wifi nodes, my rha had jitters, it did not happen to the aviot.
