It was the same price last IT fair and since then, there's been alot of good new earbuds in the market.

True. I tried it on, the bass is good sia however, not sure if it is because it fair got a lot interference or what, but the disconnection was quite bad

For that price range, what do you recommend eh? $100-150 max

This price range, the most commonly recommended earbuds in this thread are Lypertek Tevi ($139) or 1More Stylish ($80+ on Lazada).

Can go down to this shop Jaben at Adelphi to try the Lypertek and a few other brands around that price range. The shopkeeper very nice will let u try and won't force u buy.

1More Stylish i think at Plaza Singapura Stereo shop can try but not sure if they still got stock.

Some other very popular earbuds but below your price range are Sabbat E12 Ultra and Mpow T5 (both around 50-60+). Not sure where you can try these out though. Can go youtube find Gamesky or Brian Unboxed for their reviews.

Been about 3 days of daily driving the Lypertek Tevi. So far so good. The Bluetooth seems more stable than my Jabra 65T Active. No interference at all with me walking around train stations and shopping malls. Sound and Battery life is damn good.

Even at it's RRP of $139, it's a no brainier buy comparing to the bigger brands for what it can offer.
Can't wait to see what's next from Lypertek, maybe an app for it's TWS earbuds.

I think Sony Xperia 5 is the first phone to support Qualcomm True Wireless Stereo Plus standard where each earbud connects to the phone directly instead of master/slave connection. Like that also means can see the battery life of each earbud instead of seeing only the battery life of the connected master earbud. Latency also improved since both buds connects to the phone directly.

Almost latest, but definitely the qualcomm 5100 series chipset, which is better than the 3100 series that the rest of the aptx wireless earbud commonly use.

Have you tried using the pair of flexifit foam tips included in the Lypertek Tevi package?

The foam tips work so much better for me in terms of comfort and improved bass.
The lows are now significantly more punchy without eating into the mids and highs.

thanks for the tip man. changing to the foam tips made a BIG diff indeed! Now I need to figure out where to get replacements just in case lol.

I highly recommend this to anyone looking around for TWS earphones, esp if you can get it at about $100 or less. Sound's really good.

I was using the QCY T1 then, but find that the microphone is too weak to capture my voice while talking on the phone.

If it's the T5, double press right earbud to increase the volume. Phone also can increase the volume by using the volume buttons.

I went through 2 pair, but found the voice chat lousy.

most of the time, the other party can't hear me.

Qcy t1c or mpow t5. Since your music should have a lot of bass, I think qcy t1c should satisfy you.
