Wireless bluetooth EAR BUDS recommendations

Yup, the call quality is better on the SoundCore Liberty Air 2. Made a few voice calls via WhatsApp and Facetime. No problem with mic reception so far however, receiver's voice sounds a bit "robotic" as compared to the SoundCore Liberty Air 2.

Just a quick review on SoundPeats TrueAir2:

Pros:
- Stable connection.
- Good mic reception.
- Decent bass.
- Compact and ultra light design.
- Price is reasonable (after discount lol).
- QCC3040 with APTx support.

Cons:
- Cheap build (especially on the earbuds).
- No way to tell battery level of the case unless during charging.
- No dedicated app.
- Receiver's voice sounds a bit "robotic" to the caller.

I got it from Shopee at $45 after discount. Thinking of returning it for refund.

BTW how's the TaoTronics 88?

No disconnection on my Samsung note 20 ultra either on the tws earbuds I use so far. Is the phone an iPhone?

I am using iphone 12 mini... no issues at all

Be it jabra elite 85t or with ultra budget $7 wireless bluetooth earbuds

I have Singpass, TT app installed and BT on all the way, until i go sleep i will switch to airplane mode

Please wait until all the pre orders for S21 ultra fulfilled. Most likely it will be flooding in Carousell with buds pro and if u are lucky, should be able to get $100 below retail pricing.

Thanks for the review notes, let me try the same for Taotronics 88:

Pros:
- Stable connection (used it for wfh)
- Good mic for Webex conference calls.
- Pause on removal (my bad can't recall the exact feature name)
- Not an audiophile but music playback quality > Mi Air2 SE
- Good price on shopee during flash deal (below SGD50)
- Compact curved case good for the pocket

Cons:
- Battery life, max 3h usage before warning tone versus up to 5h advertised
- Stains easily (never knew I had oily ears)
- Not ideal for using lying down, either touch controls triggered or stem falls out of ear.

These days I use it as a backup to the SoundCore Liberty Air 2 (SCLA2), mainly because of better seal (misodiko tips) and battery life from SCLA2.

Tried to use my Jabra elite 85t with my laptop today for Zoom calls, Skype. MS team and Google Meet

Really feel like returning it.....

It’s almost impossible to get the audio output and mic input to work with the Jabra elite 85t

Audio output: Headset jabra 85t (Nothing and alot of hissing noise)
Mic input: Headset jabra 85t (Opposite party can hear me loud and clear)

Audio output: headphone Jabra 85t (i can hear the other party and no hissing noise)
Mic input: headset jabra 85t (Nothing)

Audio output: Headset / headphone jabra 85t
Mic input: laptop built-in mic
No problem at all

In the end... i went with

Audio output: headphone jabra 85t
Mic input: laptop built-in mic

Everything was loud and clear but after a 90min Zoom video call, the earbuds felt warm

Really disappointed that a premium tws wireless earbuds can’t work properly with a laptop, whereby it was effortless with a pair of $7 wireless earbuds

Hi, for those using fiil t1 pro, does anyone knows how to reset the earpiece back? Currently, when out of the case, only left side can be heard. Have unpaired the earpiece and re-paired again but still persists.

Lost the quick guide/manual and cant find it online. Any help will greatly appreciated.

My perception of budget tws recently changed for the better nia leh....

For one sided dead, most likely it's not dead. It's totally battery flat due to contact did not touch the charging pins.
What i previously done is to take out both earbuds, place the dead earbud in for 10 secs(make sure charging case got battery), take it out again and do this process for around 20x or more . This method is to tickle charge the dead earbud back to life. Then u will start to see the dead earbud come back to life with red charging indicator light. I managed to save 2 sets of my earbuds this way, one of it is the samsung buds+. Maybe next time when u encountered dead one side, u can try this method and see if its help.
