Mt T5 1 side got sound n 1 side no. then suddenly both sides got sound n then 1 side softer. this happened all within 5 mins

My mpow and edifier experienced the same issue

Ironically my near 3 yrs old alpha & Delta still work flawlessly

I don't have version one. But probably one of the best sound amongst the ones I've owned. Got one bug though, the in ear detection will revert to on after charging even though I turned it off in the app.

Info are those who need it:
Huawei Freebuds Pro 2 vs Huawei Freebuds Pro

1. Case smaller
2. More comfortable to wear, don't know how they do it
3. Lighter
4. Soundstage so much better
5. Bass so much stronger
6. Talk - both always been clear when I talk on train, road and drive. Sony wf-1000mx3 and the headphones, both the other side complain noisy, distortion and cannot hear me
7. ANC same level as other tip brand
8. Charing light worse than v1, they make it too small and not bright enough. You have to place the protection cover properly to align the LED light

Conclusion: The Huawei Freebuds Pro 2 is a worthy upgrade, and easy recommendation if you want something as other flagship level.

I skipped Sony because reviewer said the calling is bad, and the buds are too huge for me I think as I have small ears.

Oppo Enco X2 is the same 1 planar + 1DD config as the Huawei Freebuds Pro 2. Even the design of the charging case and earbuds are almost 100% identical. Main differences between the 2 being Enco X2 is a collab with Dynaudio while the Freebuds 2 is a collab with Devialet, and codec wise the Huawei supports up to LDAC while the oppo supports a lesser known LDAC equivalent called LHDC.

In terms of pricing. the Freebuds 2 local warranty set costs around $250 while the Enco X2 can be found on taobao for ~$150 but you need to pay more to engage a 3rd party forwarder to help you bring in. I managed to find more english based online reviews for the Enco X2 than the Freebuds 2 but i can't find any that directly compares the 2. Overall, unless the Enco X2 is absolute garbage in terms of tuning, its probably a better and safer buy between the 2 simply based on pricing.

Agreed. Still rmb last time brands like to squeeze many drivers into their earphones but they dun sound that much different from a single driver earphones. On paper look impressive only

Samsung Galaxy buds2 pro. 24 bit sound.

Testing with Samsung flip 4 which supports the new seamless codec. Revealing mids, I can hear soft sounding mids which I didn't notice before. Listened to some 24 bit flac files, the sound was just amazing. The highs are not piercing and well controlled and the bass had good impact without being overbearing. Overall quite a balanced sound, the non emphasis on highs unlike the Harman curve might make it sound a tad bland to people who are used to "hotter" treble.

Very comfortable in the ears, no hot spots in the ear.

Quite an excellent value at $258 compared to others in the category.

If you really sweat alot during workout… you should consider wireless earbuds with at least IPX5 water resistance rating.

you can check out Blackdot Pro (local company) with IPX6 water resistance rating. which means after your sweaty workout, you can wash the earbuds under water tap.
Just remember to dry them first before you wear them again or put them back into the charging case.
