Good choice in TW ear buds. The rear led lights up only when the case is being charged. The front amber led light up when the ear pods are in the case and charging.

Rear white led on charging case also lights up briefly whenever either bud is inserted into case. Probably to indicate amount of battery left.

Left bud
- tap 1x to toggle on off transparency mode
- tap 2x for prev song
- long press for reduce vol

Right bud
- tap 1x for play/pause
- tap 2x for next song
- tap 3x for assistant
- long press for increase vol

Left & right bud
- long press both for set to pairing mode(blue led on master bud(right))
- long press both till red led for reset all paired devices.

Thanks for the details, appreciate that!

Still trying to get used to the touch controls and I used it this morning on the way to work and did some settings as well as saved my own preset. The sound really blew me away and it's not too far off from my custom IEM.

Sounds great. How was the connection? Any audio drop off? You are using it on android or iPhone? Thanks for the sharing

So far connection is good between both earbuds except for once I was setting my own preset, the BT connection was lost so I've to removed right earbud, place it inside charging case then take it out and turn it on to reconnect.

I'm using iPhone X.

I'm not going to touch any Jabra products. The local service by Mojito is extremely poor. Emailed them twice, messaged them on Facebook, totally no response. Called them previously and they said will contact me when replacements stocks is in. I was informed by Jabra Apac support the local service is expecting stocks to come in yest or today and so contact me but still no news from them. Been waiting more than 3 weeks for replacement. Very pissed off. No more Jabra. Gonna look at other ear buds.

Went to try out e8 n jabra elite 65t

Felt the volume at max was still a tad too soft.

Tried testing with default equaliser on/off still not not much effect. Tried them with their own individual app equaliser also didnt excite me.

Then i was recommended to try out erato verse.

The fit was better than 2 of the above imo.

Ended up buying them.

I also tried boom equaliser frm app store.

Made alot of difference to the sound ( as erato didnt have its own individual app/equaliser).

My 2 cents from a iphone user.

Too soft? Don't know whether it is an iPhone problem

My 65t is super loud and distorted at 100%, need adjust to 80% for comfortable loud listening

This morning I used my Beoplay E8 for the very first time and set transparency to 'commute'. Then the volume was quite soft, even at near max volume. Then I reduced volume and turned transparency off, and volume was back loud and loud enough even at 70%. Tweaked tonetouch and it's perfect!

Using iPhone X here and it's not an iPhone problem, most probably it's settings problem or fitting of the earbuds.

Nope it's not like that. At first I also thought bass is not strong, but you have to go to the Beoplay app, under tonetouch setting and move the white circle vertically up, this will increase bass. left and right controls the pitch. You can place the circle anywhere according to your liking and expand it to increase surround.

In fact, the E8 is the most sophisticated true wireless earbuds I've ever used and B&O lived up to its name. Next is Bose's Soundsport free.

At first i came here ask also when i just got my E8. Why no way to show how much charge remaining left in the case when i dont have cables.

I choose to go True Wireless because i dont want to bring cables out. Then after ranting here i found out they do light up briefly whenever u plug the buds back :s13:

Yes. I have already say at the beginning that E8 has the best sound of all the TW that i have used.

Glad to have so many agreeing with me!

So which is a better purchase...E8 or elite 65t?
What i don't like about E8:
- Touch controls
- 4 hour battery life

What i like:
- leather battery case

What i don't like about 65t:
- battery case quite tricky to open
- earphones doesn't magnetically attach to battery case so might drop out accidentally

Why dislike the touch controls on E8?

I bought the E8 because the pixel buds isnt a gd option. Using a pixel 2 xl.
