It is not listed on the supported list, but there is a way to extract the mjpeg path by synology NAS from the camera. If you buy from MARIX, I'm sure they will teach you how. It was listed on their website that it does support.

My NVS-K200 will arrive next week! Gonna test it out as the first batch of mass production model.

ahh ok Thanks!

Hi all, need some advice I have a set of the T7838.
Had no issue with veiwing through vstarcam app and eye4 app previously on 3G and LTE network. However, since last week I am unable to view thru mobile network. It keeps telling me the camera is offline. I can only view while my phone is in the same network as the camera?

Re

If it can't record to external storage or cloud, then where does it record to ? kind of defeats the purpose if it can't record to cloud but according to amazon review, one user mentions it records to Samsung servers and if there is no activity, it stops recording :s22:

I got the info from the distributor, Convergent Systems PL, here.

Yes, on amazon.com one reviewer did post that he can record using Samsung NET-i NVR software or other software or physical NVRs

http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Smart...iewpoints=0&sortBy=bySubmissionDateDescending

It can record to the microSD card.

Bro, they are closed over the weekend. So, my guess is MONDAY

Received the Vstarcam T7838wip yesterday and setup 1 of the set. Everything is working normally untill when i turned on speaker of the camera, can hear a loud humming sound for unknown reason which covers most of the normal sound. When i turned on mic and speak, can hear a lot of echo when the camera speaker playback. Tried with both pc and hp still same.

I got an almost 1 year old same model camera bought from Challenger and it doesn't have this issue at all. Both are connected wirelessly and having the latest firmware. Did not open the 2nd set as it is for someone.

Anyone got any idea how to resolve this?
**update.. now I don't encounter the humming noise. Don't know why suddenly ok. But I notice this new camera volume is louder than the old one I have when I on the speaker on my hp and pc apps.

If you switch it off and turn it on again, does it still hum? Yes, I agree the volume is louder for the T7838WIP as it have gone through Rev 5 from day 1

Nothing strange... Every device if you need to access their webUI will need a port. Default web port is 80 for more web servers. You can use customized port for some. Like D-Link's router, choices from 88, 8080, etc for remote web access.

OK. Here's a quick initial summary of my initial thoughts of VStarcam NVS-K200.

1. Creepy Startup Music that comes with the LOGO for a few seconds
(Do not turn this things ON at night when you have children in the room)
2. MAX 4 CHANNEL VIEWING (Yes.. MAX)
3. Best used within LAN (For viewing & recording)
4. No hardware audio adjustment available
5. Supports playback on the device
6. Supports both scheduled & alarm recording
7. Supports screen standby mode and works in background

Still running further stability test on the product itself... Sad that only 4 cameras are supported, but I guess that's the limit the processor can handle.

Not available on the market yet! :s13:

Here is the TPlink router. I have no idea where the port is created. I didn't key-in any..:s11:

user109s, i do not understand what you mean by "How do I make use of it if I put in a IPcam"

Basically what you have is access to the webUI of the router. Your ip camera does not need to know the URL of your router login page and port.

OK, had some exploration on the NVS-K200 over the weekend, thanks to MARIX for bringing it in for me to play. The unit is able to do music playback, acts like a photoframe and plays movies.

It can;

Play music while working as a digital photoframe (via MicroSD Card)
Pay music while LIVE viewing (MicroSD Card)

All the above with the recording taking place in the backend continuously.

However, it seems to be overwhelming to the device once I set 4 cameras recording all the way (4mbps bitrate) within the LAN while doing other things like movie playback. The device slowed down alot during multi-tasking

What I like about the NVS is, it is able to provide continuous connection to the cameras while LIVE viewing, I had my cameras viewing running 8hours and no breaks. Even tried having 1 camera viewing from remote for 1 hour.

If you are doing remote monitoring, please expect some lag over the image, within the LAN, it is good, much better than using the IP Camera Super Client which will slow down your computer alot.

Remember, this little toy allows you to view MAX 4 cameras at the same time, as advised, this toy supports the current T series & upcoming C series (sorry to the H series users)

Will update more or release the review once I'm done with it. As of now, was told that only EXPORT UNIT is available for purchase while the LOCAL UNIT will need to wait for a while for the power adapter approval (NOT FACTORY)

Some information from the factory is kinda misleading like free DDNS... I do not find anything to access remotely to the NVS...

You can call them again, this morning, most of their engineers & sales are at my workplace data centre, that side no signal one. One of our contractor snap our data cables and cause an entire building network outrage. They should be back in office liao. Try calling.

I used T7833WIPX3 (for 2 production floor monitoring, if you are not looking at anti-vandalism, consider their basic indoor units like T7835WIP, now $109 online still. You can self setup somemore
