Just a quick update on several enquiries from the forum members here. Note that all the Foscam cannot record to NAS from its web UI even if you mapp a drive letter to the network path.

Hence, for those who wanted a NAS to do recording, please do
consider buying a NAS with recording function on its own or look
for software like Super IP Camera Clients, etc.

:)

I use this FREE iPhone app called CamViewer for Webcam by John Mckerell and it works great with my Ali2 cam. Not sure how the paid apps are.

Does all the Pan/Tilt functions.

When app is ON viewing the camera, doesn't Off the iPhone screen.

My obsession with wireless IP cameras continue.... Was browsing Mediapro's pricelist when I saw a new wireless IP camera. This one is also called the H-series, and it is 720P HD capable:

any screen shot on the image quality?
what is the hoot damage?

I'm having some problems with it. I could set up the camera, but I can't view the image. I keep getting a login failure error. Will have to keep trying.

Get the DYN UPDATER client here. There is a client for Win7, OSX and Linux/Unix. By installing this and running it on a PC within your private network, it will sync and update the dynamic IP address.

gsm 3g camera

Hi,

Are there any surveillance camera that works using a gsm simcard without linking to a IP/router?

I am currently using the camera sold by Singtel which i can just dial to a simcard by video calling.

I research & found the only other brand that is selling the gsm 3g camera is by Prolink...
hardwarezone.com/product-prolink-gsm-3g-camera-phc105 (sorry cannot post link)

Are there any other brand? Very confusing as i dont have any other internet service at home other than my mobile broadband.

Pls help as i am totally blurr on these even after reading from the 1st page......:o
