hi. Concerns that the videos are being streamed via an unofficial third party software/app. My worry is that people will be able to access my feed as its not secure enough ?

my understanding might be totally wrong though so please enlighten me.

My comments are based on my own opinion, and I am very sure I am no expert either, so pls take my words with a few grains of salt.

My opinion is as long as you open up your router to allowing viewing when your outside.... You have already provided a door for anyone, hard working enough, to get in. Regardless of which brand, which http, https, DDNS or VPN. Some ways of access are better than others, of course, but the fact remains. Some brands are supposedly better as well, but I think at the core of it, is that its IP based.... anyone with a keyboard, internet connection and half a brain will get it, if given enough time. So brands are not a good way of assesing good vs. great.

With that in mind, although I have cameras all over my hse, I dont have them in too sensitive areas.... loos, in the bed room, dat sort of thing. I know of pple who live in bungalows... that dont put cameras directly at their safes, watch collections etc etc.

So what I am saying is, if you do need to record, by all means, do it locally without sending it to the internet. Once you are outside and want to view from the outside... and you open that door..... anyone, who can and with enough want, will figure it out.

The question of WHY, is also important. There has to be something of interest before the intruder would keep coming back. Deprive the intruder of this, and he/she will move along.

That said, I also stopped running around my house in my underwear......:s13::s13:

Hi I have two sineoji cams. Recently in the app the status of the cams are always connecting or offline. I have to keep clicking on the 2 cam icons to retry connecting. Most times have to click more than 20 times then can connect. Any one facing same issue?

Mine was instantly fast, open up the app, and it gets online.

Using Sineoji 498, 528 and 713.

Try powering off your router and on it again. Refresh the WiFi connectivity...

Hi all, I just purchased Sineoji PT713. The audio communication is extremely noisy even in an empty room. The sound quality is so bad that I can only hear very noisy interference. Is this normal? Any setting that I have missed out? TIA

I am currently using PT713, have 2 units at home . The audio is clear and loud, no noise interference as you described. Probably it could something wrong with your unit. Get it exchange or replaced.

Adjust the mic input sensitivity from the Sineoji web base UI on your chrome. Your mic input sensitivity could be 90/100 resulting the interference you heard.

Lower it to between 60 to 80 subject to your environmental surrounding.

My 713V initially was 95 but I played with the numbers, and 70 was perfect for me.
