Hi bros, I’ve both Sineoji and Xiaomi wireless cameras at home. But they seem to always appear offline. Any reason why that’s so? I’m using it to monitor my baby and helper. So I’ll need it up

Were they working previously?

If working, were they down together?

Eh what's the commonality?

Is it your router?

Both on the same router. But I didn't have the issues until recently. One of the device is always connecting, then offline. (Kitchen)

The other device got intermittent connection issues. (Living Room)

I am not sure is there anything got to do with my connections.
The one at living room is right in front of the router. Dont see why there is connections issues =/

I read it could be sineoji issues with regards to their server? Are their servers up?

Try bringing the camera from kitchen nearer to the router. Use a LAN cable if possible.

Contact Sineoji and ask about their server. You already paid extra for the service.

If Sineoji does not reply, it means they are practically dead. Avoid their cameras. Lately, you don't see any fake Sienoji users posting in this thread anymore.

I have the Wyze Cam Pan. I used the Foscam FI9826 before. Previously, another Foscam.

The night vision in Wyze is not that strong compared to the Foscam. I think the range is shorter.

Other than that, I am happy with Wyze because of the cheaper price.

Where did you buy your Wyze cam? Amazon dont ship to SG and those selling on Carousell or Lazada are very expensive. Looking to buy Wyze cam v2 for testing before buying a few more to setup in whole house.

I bought from US through Ezbuy.

I think all in about $60 plus some waiting time.

You can check 11/11 sale.

got my wyze cam v2 from a local seller at $50 each.

i gotten 4 Wyze cams, really is so much better than those dlink, tplink local reputable brands.

only thing is it is not True 180deg view. i would say only 170 or 160deg.

whereas my Dlink Dcs2630 is true 180 deg view but no 2 way communication.

I am looking for a 2 way communication, True 1080HD, and true 180deg view cam. any recommendation ?

I guess yours are the non pan version.

It's cheaper.

Mine cam pan v2. I think local selling around $70.

Could the WiFi connection be the cause? I’m using M1 and my broadband not very stable. Cameras always offline

The new cameras are very easy to setup.

Just watch some YouTube videos to follow.

Wyze has been rock solid for me so far.

You can buy the cameras cheaply if you know anyone coming from US.

Sorry didn’t visit this thread for quite awhile.

Wyze cam pan and v2 model. Pan is the more expensive one, v2 is the smaller unit. Both are really excellent cameras. Pan seems to be better with night vision. I got it from Lazada which has a year warranty.

Hi there. How’s the camera video like? Is it clear at night too? Which model are u using? Thanks for the help!!

Maybe Arlo pro 2? But still expensive
Think they have home kit support

Hi all,

Could anyone recommend a security camera that fits the following:

-battery powered
-wifi
-continuous recording
-able to record to a nas or sd card (would like to avoid monthly subscription fees)
-1080p recording

I have looked at the arlo ultra (a tad expensive and monthly fees), Blink XT2 seems good but limited to 60s recording, Wyze (not wireless)

Would love to hear some info from the gurus here. Thank you!

Sorry for the double post, I posted another thread but do not know how to delete it.

IMHO, battery powered and continuous recording won't be able to go together hand-in-hand.

I had used 2 Foscam models before in the last 5-6 years.

Their night vision is really awesome but too expensive.
