Dlink, Foscam, VStarCam, Trendnet and Edimax are all okay for me. Not necessary to get HD ones unless you want very precise details (which might not even show up when you are viewing via a mobile phone or small tablet screen).
Note that for online viewing at home via a browser, most cameras run on ActiveX, so without Windows and IE, you might need to use RTSP.
