Wireless IP camera

Would just like to share my disappointing experience with the yi camera so other potential buyers will be aware.

Bought the yi 1080 home dome camera last June 2017 (159sgd) which is their high end home dome camera and had it replaced 3 times for the past 9 months. Two previous units just won’t power on anymore.

This noon I had to go back to their service center at Tat Ann Building near Marymount MRT which is quite a hassle to have it replaced again as it quit pairing with my phone to monitor our baby.

Unfortunately they don’t have the 1080 home dome camera in stock (possible having frequent replacements with my personal experience). The customer service officer offered the 720p home dome camera (99sgd) which is a downgrade and I accepted it since I don’t want to go to the trouble of geeting back again to have it replaced. Hopefully I don’t have to come back again till my warranty is over.

Be the judge if you consider buying this product.

Hi experts, i am using a C7824WIP-PRO Vstarcam.. Anyone know what is the settings needed to view in over chrome or IE on PC in the "outside world"?

Once the eye4 detects the cam, u can view it remotely

However, if u want to remotely view it on web browser, u neeed to set static IP address on cam and configure your router for port forwarding. That's what the support team told me. Yet to test it out

My brother in law has just moved in to their BTO HDB in yishun..Ordered 3 Sineoji cameras for the living hall, kitchen and infant's room. As their living hall isn't that huge, settled down with the sineoji camera model PT528V.

I requested him to get an Asustor NAS as well. He is very pleased with the entire IP camera installation including linking up the cameras with the Asustor NAS from Dean of Sineoji when he did the installation.

He was impressed with the camera's responsivness , almost zero latency when he view from his workplace.

Thanks Dean for expediting the services despite the busy schedule you have.

Which ISP ?
Zero latency is fantastic. I use wired and view at home using wireless still have some lag.

He's a sharp shooter...one night, I happened to change my router wifi password and suddenly all my sineoji ipcams goes offline..it was almost 12 midnight and I whatsapp him for assistance, thinking that perhaps tmr he will reply tmr. Instantly, he replied on whatsapp and rang me up to assist me to set up my ipcams as my wifi password has changed causing it to logout from the router. All my ipcams were up and running in 5 minutes. I wonder does Dean ever sleeps ?

Zero latency is fantastic. I use wired and view at home using wireless still have some lag.

I am also a sineoji ipcam user here.

their ipcams are fast, when I am connecting using the app while I am out, it connects in 2 seconds. When I pan the camera, it moves immediately on the video, there is no lag. I am connecting using my phone's data (4G).

Anyone can advise how do I fix my PT713V night vision mode? It is completely in a white blur and I can't find any settings that can get it corrected.

Also, what's the best settings for PT713V on the tinycam app? It seems that if I put ONVIF feed, there's a delay when starting up the camera feed on app..

White blur is due to the infra red that has been obstructed. Your camera must have been placed in a position sitting at the top and pointing downwards. The infra red led lights round the lens are directed to the glossy white surface of the camera instead causing it to be white blur. If you pan the camera upwards, the video will not be white blur as the infra red lights are not being blocked.

Mount the camera inverted with the mounting bracket provided. Then the infra red lights are not being obstructed when you tilt downwards.

For use with tiny cam app, you probably have to check with sineoji on the settings. You probably have to do port forwarding with a ddns.

If you use the tiny cam app, assign a static ip address to your ipcam. The go to your router settings to port forward.

Next setup the ddns such as dydns or no-ip.com

Got you. Accessing the camera on mobile isn't too big of a problem. Bigger issue is the lag when loading up the camera feed even on wifi, there's a lag. Comparatively, I have another model pt331v which camera feed is extremely responsive on the app itself

I owned one of the Sineoji PT713V and accessing it on my mobile 4G data, is smooth. I am not using the 3rd party tinycam app, I am using the Sineoji app.

Why don't you try using the Sineoji app. If it works, means that your configuration settings for the 3rd party tinycam app is incorrect.

I have used the tinycam app before, was configured by Dean when he came to do the mounting and installation of the cameras when I bought online. The tinycam app is wonderful and I tried accessing my cameras in Jakarta. Was responsive and smooth with my sineoji pt528, pt713v model as well as my older sineoji models pt495v.

Then I stop using the app as it was not user friendly but if you are a techie, is a good app.

Try to reach out to Dean or whatapp him, he setup my cam with the tinycam app..

I just got the Reolink Argus 2. Fully wireless. Runs on rechargeable battery. However, it only records into the sd card when motion is detected. U can view anywhere from outside.

is about 1.2 metres, yes with the round pin. Last time when Dean installed the sineoji cameras for me, i purchased from him.

You can check with the distributor, they should have it.
