Remember to ensure that camera is plugged directly wired to the router,
port forwarding 81 external to internal 81 of the ip address of the camera.
We'll request the S/W engineer to login after receiving your information
and let them try to fix up your camera via remote.
Thanks. It's a bit embarrassing but when I was trying to change the port forwarding on my router to change it from my usual port to 81, I realized that I was only forwarding the TCP ports. Just out of curiosity, I changed it to both TCP and UDP and voila! the web browser access works now. My apologies for the false alarm.
I will still email support@marix.com.sg though because, with access to the web server on the camera, I realize that my firmware is out of date (F/W: 0.1.0.3.151, Web Server: 32.1.0.34) and need to find a download link for the firmware. Thanks
