can I know have you compare FI9821W foscam to Vstarcam T7838WIP , I saw you had ordered Vstarcam for your office use, can I know why ? sorry I just like to compare this two before I purchase one or two for my mum's house, thanks.

Don't say China very good. Still many company there trying to CON innocent buyers. Do not even be sure the markings such as UL and CE are genuine until you double and tripple confirm with the regulatory body. That's my advise to you. China products still as rotten as before. But there are some good ones which are supported by our local vendors.

Suggest that you dump all your MIC stuffs and live peacefully.

Your HDBS and lifts are mostly constructed by materials from PRC or designed by their dishonest engineers/technicians.

U can read my vstarcam review. The camera series are not bad. Easy to use. Thats why I keep buying from them while exploring other options

Dont be so shallow. Read carefully. Do you understand what is regulatory body and the word confirm? Also I did not say all MIC stuffs are bad. Just need to have a responsible local dealer to back them up. Further more I'm sure HDB or the town council will do their home work before speaking.

So do not generalise.

I would propose u to skip this online store. Warranty already void by factory since they r not authorized seller in SG. If u buy, have to ensure you received PSB approved adapters.

Anything wrong wif your cameras, make sure u make them change 1 to 1, cos they r not getting support from factory due to infringing of country distributor rights.

Marix is main distri, they sell more but r locally compliance, also they have new NVS launching just after IT show. I m doing group buy later foe my office

Sorry for late reply bro, why I didn't buy foscam anymore, my first few FI8918W went thru hell when I had them. I visit MARIX every 2 to 3 months to change a unit. Motor keeps getting stuck n the last draw was the motor fell off inside. Their tech guy opened up n show me. Note that marix back then does 1 to 1 exchange for all faulty sets.

They also got pek chek tat their boss dropped the distributorship cos of high RMA. The model U have spoken of, there was 1 forum guy here whom I met at marix office, he told me he returned the stock due to audio problem n got a refund and dropped over to get T7838WIP.

But things maybe diff now as models get refreshed hardware every now n then.

I am ok wif VStarcam so far, but of cos managed ur expectation too. Its not a 100% no problem camera

It's not legal to sell without safety mark adapters. Can be fined and banned from selling if reported to authorities.
