U can call your retailer for vstarcam. vstarcam nowsaday CMI liao. Features work n dont work after upgrades etc, my colleague's C series having issues with recordings n connectivity. Even MARIX stop selling their product n seek new manufacturer to OEM. RMA rate is very high it seems seeing the number of boxes listed for disposal at their workshop Full of cameras.

Zafego is not bad, simple also. Key in ID n password to APP with Lan cable To router n can see online, u can then set wifi. Audio is good. Nas supported. I m testing 1 with my qnap nas now

Ok I probably get the foscam... Basic model like the 89 series ok?

FI8910W is a very old and basic model. i just sold this away for $30 recently.

go for the higher end model like FI9826P if you have the budget. the resolution and features are much better.

some tips for those who are facing disconnection issues while using a wireless or wired connection. i was wrong to think that there wont be any disconnection even with a wired connection. i managed to fix by following the rules there. my fix was the dhcp setup on my router.

you have to make compromises.

1) use a longer lan cable to have better connection. it will be messy.

2) bring router or camera closer to each other. much neater but poor connectivity.

for me, i am enjoying my foscam FI9826P. it is connected by lan cable and i dont have a single connection issue. i can ftp screenshots and save videos on ALL alarms. the only problem is my screenshots interval has to be 2 seconds or above. or else the camera will freeze after some time.

Okies, thanks for your advise, I roughly buy another longer cable directly plug into my camera after that my connection seems okie.

Even if I put my router nearer to my camera is not really working well as cable connection.

So might considering the way how to do a wiring there..
