Time being, for same day rate definately Myeongdong is higher than sg.

Only 1 shop no stock, others ranging 810-812.50 still have stock

Yup, Myeongdong is much higher; 818 today.

I changed $500 that day (I planned to change in Seoul) and made the mistake of queuing at the longest queue in the arcade (which offered the best rate)

I spend more than 40minutes queuing and rate was 812. There was another shop at 811 which has no queue.

500*812/811=$500.60. that mean I spend 40minutes queuing just for 60cents
