If based on ytd, SGD to USD was 0.73, USD to KRW in myeongdong was 1128 & SGD to KRW was 816.

I was thinking of changing a few hundreds into KRW and then the rest to SGD. Rates in myeongdong for SGD to KRW seems to be slightly better than in SG.

How did u get 0.73? That is 1.369

Today myeongdong is between 805 to 815... Have to walk around the Chinese embassy cos each money changer varies. Changed mine further up the Chinese embassy, opposite the multi storey carpark for 815

As of 130pm in Seoul

U r getting an impossible exchange rate of 1usd to 1.369 sgd as it is no where near. Also, I just prefer to convert to 1usd vs sgd instead. So wats wrong with my primary school maths?

Enlighten me bro. why is it impossible that 1USD is to 1.369 SGD? Its pretty much the market value right now. not math, just pure facts.(http://www.xe.com/currencyconverter/convert/?Amount=1&From=USD&To=SGD)
and you said that you like to convert 1usd vs sgd, isnt that1 USD = 1.36SGD??? contradicting much when you said its impossible to get that rate? lol
He has his preference of convert SGD to USD too.
btw, 1.369 SGD = 1USD, thus 1SGD = 1USD/1.369SGD = 0.73SGD.

Wow using 2 decimal points rounded off i presume, to calculate money. Come i clap for u. Also, since when can u ever get forex rates from moneychangers??

No wonder u get your preferential exchanges despite changing money twice from Sgd to Usd theb to Won. If there is such good arbitrage thru moneychangers (lol) and not even thru currency trading. I will be doing this full time.

there is ppl who managed to change at 0.7336 ytd at raffles. hmmmm. why is it impossible?

lol get your facts right. i wasn't the one who change the money twice. and the mathematically portion is just to do a simple explanation. its obviously a no-brainer that you cant get forex exchange rate at money changer..

What shadow84 said was SGD to USD. Here's an example of the current MONEY CHANGER rate for 1 SGD to USD.

This is an example of the current money changer rate for 1 USD to SGD. 1 USD to 1.3625 SGD. Is the decimal place sufficient? If you are saying 1.369 SGD is no where near to 1.36525 SGD with a mere 0.0065 SGD difference, come i clap for you too.
