To be safe.....try not to exchange with stranger. It better to go to the bank or money changer.
There are fake 50 000 won in the market long ago....and Korean do not accept it few years back.. Pls be alert.

Oh really? Didn't really check the exchange rate in SG, just came back from SG yesterday so I just based on mustafa's exchange rate of 789.

I am based in Seoul and all the money was withdrawn from the ATM before I came back to Singapore for holiday, so definitely no problems with counterfeits as mentioned by other fellow forumers. I can show receipt of withdrawal if you want. =:p
