Probably you are right. Any brand recommendation that has small sizes?
I saw Ed Et Al shoemaker has some small sizes for men. Never hear about them being mentioned much here thou.

They can do as small as UK5, but no ready stock, need to order one. But no upcharge, normal retail price

If your feet is too small, you may want to consider MTO with Edetal. I don't have experience with that, but it is an option for you.

Looks like I need to re-org my shoe collection.

I'll need thundermarch's IG for reference... what's his IG?

Just a quick question.. Flat dress shoes laces-->yay or nay? Was thinking of putting dark blue on my black oxfords.

Yay! I think dark blue is a very safe colour anyway, so it wouldn't be that big of an issue in a conservative environment. Burgundy might be an interesting touch!

If anyone needs saphir burgundy cream polish let me know. Realized that I already have one jar after I bought a new one.

Went to Carmina today to see what they have...saw a pair of 923 forest loafers in black. Like the design but not the black colour, was told that have to pay upfront to order different colour

The salesman said new stock will come in Jan-Feb but may or may not have this particular model in the colour I want...went to see online shop, don't even have it.

No choice but to wait till Jan-Feb, hopefully got stock. No stock then maybe need to take a leap of faith.

Sigh. Wrote to Loake requesting for advice on sizing and lasts of their non- vs 1880s shoes, and got this reply:

" I’m sure you will understand that, although there’s a standard system for sizing shoes, there is (unfortunately) no such thing as a standard foot shape.  The outcome of this is that different shaped shoes will fit different shaped feet in different, and some people may need to go up or down in size in some styles to achieve a comfortable fit.  Hopefully, the last shape, size and fitting should give you a good indication."

Which basically amounts to nothing. Maybe it's just the holiday season, or am I missing something?
