Looking for Full Grain Welded shoes

I came across this website http://www.custommade.com.sg/

Any review?

Any shops that specifically sell the above?

I like Aldo Shoes but the salesperson can't tell me if it's Full Grain Welded shoes.

Never heard of them before. If you do end up buying, please consider posting a review so that someone else with the same question later has an answer.

Sadness. Even with the fall in GBP, I'm still not comfortable on the price of Loake 1880s.

Meermins are still the king of value. :s13:

EEA lah. I like my Loakes, but EEA's last is a lot more elegant IMO. Loake's leathers may be softer and take to polish better, but there's something about EEA's stiff leather that contributes to the feel of a solid, well built shoe.

If you're not in a rush then order in lor. FWIW EEA does have some pretty unique takes on classic designs. If not on the entry level actually all the shoe designs are pretty similar.

Meermin does have some interesting MTOs once in a while... just that sizing is now a bitch to get right after they've changed the sizing measurements to be all the same for the different lasts, which is Bull S***.

Granted that i only have one pair of Loakes and Meermin each,
I think Loakes is a better shoemaker based on the small sample that I have.

Herring uses DHL, thus fast shipping but will kenna gst + $20 admin fee if more than S$400.

Robinson uses normal registered mail. 2 weeks to reach, but will likely siam gst. On and off they give 20% store wide discount. The last one was on 31 Jul. Free shipping if more than 150UKP.

Anyone have any experience with regards to siam-ing admin fee? GST don't say la must pay, but admin fee to the shipping company? Didn't we already pay for shipping why still got admin fee? When purchasing an item, we enter into a contract with the vendor to pay for item and shipping. The item come into SG, by law we have to pay for GST. Fine. Why still must pay admin fee? At no point did we enter into a contract with the shipping company wad.

I think the admin fee is for facilitating the GST payment.
